TV Ratings Report: Good News for The Good Wife

Likely assisted by its shows actually starting on time for once on a Sunday night, CBS enjoyed a strong opening to its week yesterday.

The Good Wife Season 6 Episode 5 garnered 10.8 million total viewers and a 1.4 rating among 18-49-year olds; while Madam Secretary (12.4 million/1.4) rose 8 percent in total viewers.

CSI, meanwhile, held firm.

  • ON ABCOnce Upon a Time Season 4 Episode 4 matched last week’s figures with 7.9 million and a 2.7 rating; Resurrection (5 million/1.4) fell 10 percent and a tenth (to a series low), while Revenge Season 4 Episode 4 (5 million/1.3) ticked up 6 percent and a tenth.
  • ON FOX, The Simpsons (7.6 il/3.5, up 6 percent), Brooklyn Nine-Nine (5.2 il/2.5, up 14 percent) and Family Guy (4.9 il/2.5) all posted best-since-premiere numbers, while Mulaney (2.3 il/1.1) fell flat. It has had its first season episode order reduced to 13.
