Following a week off for Thanksgiving, The Vampire Diaries will come roaring back this Thursday night.
On The Vampire Diaries Season 6 Episode 9, Stefan will learn he has a new relative, information that especially pleases a certain frenemy that he tried to kill earlier this fall.
Elsewhere, Elena and Damon will use the Ascendant to spend a special day in The Prison World, as they seek to bring Bonnie home... while Kai will escape from The Prison World.

The installment will make the penultimate hour of TVD this year, with The Vampire Diaries Season 6 Episode 10 counting as the show's 2014 finale.
