Hope seemed nearly lost on The Walking Dead Season 5 Episode 10.
After so many miles on the road... after so many deaths... after doing battle with so many walks... Maggie and company appeared ready to give up.
Until Aaron arrived and offered the survivors a reason for optimism.
He referred to himself as a "friend." He asked to meet the group's "leader." He claimed to have some "good news" for a change.
This, of course, has led to a rather obvious pair of questions from fans of TV's highest-rated series:

- Can he be trusted?
