The Originals Round Table: Who Do You Trust?

at .

We learned Freya's history with Dahlia on The Originals Season 2 Episode 16 but there's something about her story that doesn't quite work for Klaus who has decided his long-lost sister can't be trusted. We here on the TV Fanatic Round Table are pretty unsure of her ourselves.

Can Freya be trusted? That's the question Paul Dailly, Amanda Steinmetz, and Miranda Wicker will attempt to answer this week, as well as what's up with Eva and those nasty carvings! Check out out answers below and then jump in with your own!

What was your favorite quote or scene from "Save My Soul"?

Paul: Favorite scene was Hayley going to Klaus to warn him. It was exciting to see. Klaus seems like he is getting sick of her demands.

Amanda: I agree with Paul. I liked the Hayley-Klaus scene. Klaus' statement about only being able to trust himself is what will probably put Hope in more danger.

Miranda: Yusuf Gatewood gets my gold star for this episode. I love how he brought Vincent to life as a completely different character from Finncent. He was fantastic, so his scenes with Cami where he's trying to process the things his body did while he was someone else were fantastic.

Do you trust Freya?

Paul: I'm undecided. She is going on about how evil Dahlia is, but with her spending much of her life with her aunt, it wouldn't be shocking if they were in cahoots.

Amanda: I don't know yet. I want to believe her, but I'm suspicious. Elijah is so willing to trust her, and Klaus refuses to. We've already had to deal with Finn trying to destroy them, so I'd like to see a sibling that's on their side.

Miranda: We've watched Klaus long enough to know that his paranoia is rarely without foundation. Because Klaus doesn't trust her, I don't trust her.

Is Jackson a good leader for the pack?

Paul: I think so, yes. He seems loyal and there isn't much loyalty flowing through New Orleans.

Amanda: Yes, but that doesn't mean others won't try to replace him.

Miranda: I think a leader has to be more than an "alpha male douche" so in that regard, yes. He's kind and considerate. But he hasn't really done much to inspire the pack's confidence aside from marrying Hayley and giving them hybrid status.

Vincent and Eva were married. What's your reaction?

Paul: Ugh. The writers are just trying to find a way to keep Vincent in the fold.

Amanda: It creeps me out a bit. Up until recently, Finn was occupying his body, while Rebekah has been occupying Eva's. Now we learn Vincent and Eva were married. It's all too icky for me to think about.

Miranda: I'm totally cool with keeping Vincent around because Gatewood is so fantastic in the role, but I'm with Amanda that finding out he and Eva were married when just last week they were siblings is a little outside my comfort zone. It sort of gave me the creeps.

Do you think Eva is connected to Dahlia somehow?

Paul: Now that would be interesting. I have no idea.

Amanda: I never thought about that, but I like the idea.

Miranda: I wasn't sure but after seeing the mark on Davina's forehead and learning about Dahlia, I'm almost convinced Eva's the key.

What do you think, TV Fanatics? Is Eva the key to Dahlia? We'll find out when The Originals Season 2 Episode 17 airs on April 6th. Until then, watch The Originals online and sound off below in the comments with your answers to this week's questions!
