Grey's Anatomy star Ellen Pompeo knows people face tragedies every day, and now she has the opportunity to honor some of what they experience through her portrayal of Meredith after the tragic loss of her beloved husband, Derek.
She agrees Meredith is facing the impossible after Derek's death, and Pompeo took the time to share her thoughts about what's next for her popular character now that he's gone.
“There are so many people out there who have suffered tremendous loss and tragedy. Husbands and wives of soldiers, victims of senseless violence and parents who have lost children. People who get up each day and do what feels like is the impossible."
