Helix: Canceled By Syfy after 2 Seasons

Helix will not be returning to Syfy.
Sources say the series has been canceled after two seasons. Despite a change of venue, from the arctic for the successful Helix Season 1 to an island location for the second season, the alien-based show never found a solid footing.
The good news is with a bit of a flash forward, Helix Season 2 gave some closure to the characters in the event it wasn't picked up.
Syfy's freshman series 12 Monkeys was picked up for a second season earlier this year.
