TNT Sets Summer Schedule: When Will Falling Skies Say Goodbye?

TNT's exciting summer schedule has finally been announced.

The return of the summer drama The Last Ship has been announced, as well as the finale season for Falling Skies and two new dramas.

The first of the new dramas is Proof, starring Jennifer Beals and Matthew Modine. In the wake of her son's death, a mother (Beals) teams up with a billionaire tech inventor (Modine) to study reincarnation (because he'd have to be a billionaire to study that stuff?!).

The second of the news dramas is Public Morals (diggin' on the P-word shows) starring Edward Burns and Michael Rapaport. The show is set in the 1960s and Burns character is a NYPD Public Morals Officer who checks in on cops who have issues walking the line between doing their job and falling into the wayward path of the vice-related crimes they investigate. Hmmm.

  • 9/8c Major Crimes Season 4
  • 10 pm Murder in the First Season 2

TUESDAY, JUNE 16

  • 9 pm Rizzoli & Isles Season 6
  • 10 pm Proof (new series)

SUNDAY, JUNE 21

  • 9 pm The Last Ship Season 2 (two-hour premiere)

SUNDAY, JUNE 28

  • 10 pm Falling Skies‘ final season

MONDAY, AUG. 25

  • 9 pm Public Morals (new series formerly premiering Aug. 17)
  • 10 pm Legends Season 2 Pushed to fall

** Legends Season 2 will premiere in the fall, as will The Librarians Season 2 and Agent X Season 1.
