The teaser touts, "The say the biggest blockbusters come in threes," while displaying some of the most successful trilogies of two generations across the screen, "So naturally it's our turn."

A little confidence has not hurt this series, and if the teaser is any indication, it's only going to help the latest installment crawl up the social media charts when it airs during Syfy's own Sharknado Week, premiering on Wednesday, July 22 at 9/8c.

My favorite, albeit all too short, sneak peek at the upcoming Sharknado 3 is Ian Ziering sashaying through the White House, sporting two automatic weapons, bent over backwards shooting at what must be rogue sharks inside one of America's most precious institutions. DUH!
