The 100 Season 3 Taps Zach McGowan for Recurring Role

Ahoy matey!
Black Sails actor Zach McGowan will be off the water on dry land as a rogue Grounder warrior in The 100 Season 3.
Like most of the other Grounders we've come to know, his character will stop at nothing to get what he wants. No surprise there!
Just one look at McGowan, and you have to wonder why he hasn't been cast long before now. He is practically made to be a part of the post-apocalyptic world of The 100, isn't he?
McGowan won't be the only new face in the crowd, as Michael Beach, known for his roles on Sons of Anarchy and most recently Secrets and Lies, has also joined the cast.
Beach will be someone from the Ark we have yet to meet, named Pike. Pike is "tough and charismatic member of the Ark with a staunch moral code."
Season 3 will air in 2016 and resume with a short time jump, several months ahead, after everyone has come to terms with what they did in the war.
