All good things must come to an end.

For every beginning, there is an end, and TNT President Kevin Reilly announced at the TCAs today that Rizzoli & Isles Season 7 would be the last for the network's flagship series.

"We felt it was time,” he said. “Every felt good about it.”

Rizzoli & Isles was a part of TNT's previous efforts to match their syndicated programming, such as the powerhouse Law & Order.

Starring Angie Harmon and Sasha Alexander, the series has done very well for the network, always pulling in great ratings. 

There is something to be said for going out on top and when you will be well remembered, and that's something the fans of Rizzoli & Isles will be able have for a long time.

The upcoming seventh and final season will consist of 13 episodes.
