Scandal Return Promo: Goodbye, White Hat!

It's safe to say the ABC promotional department is on top of its game.

Earlier this week, we shared with you the latest teaser for the return of Grey's Anatomy, which will feature Meredith getting assaulted by a patient and possibly dying. (NOTE: She will not actually die.)

Now, the network would like to issue a warning to all Gladiators:

Prepare to suit up.

Also, prepare for your jaw to become well acquainted with the floor.

Why? Because the promo teases some seriously hot sex between Jake and Olivia, for starters, as well as the promise that our heroine will be taking off her white hat.

We know that Scandal Season 5 will pick up six months into the future when it resumes on Thursday, February 11 at 9/8c.

But we don't know what this will mean for its key characters.
