Suits Round Table: How Will Mike Get Out Of This One?

at .

The case against Mike seems to be getting stronger.

On Suits Season 5 Episode 13 the case against Mike intensifies and it causes a whole host of problems for our favorite characters.

Below, TV Fanatics Stacy Glanzman, Christine Hinton and Paul Dailly discuss Sheila leaving town, the return of Scottie and how the rest of the season will play out.

React to Louis getting Sheila out of the way of the trial.

Christine: I thought he was awesome. He did exactly what needed to be done. He might love Sheila but he also loves the firm and his friends and that’s where his future lies. He simply showed Sheila how bad Harvey could make things for her on the stand and gave her a way out. Taking that out was her choice.

Stacy: I agree with Christine, Louis was awesome in that scene. I especially loved when he said you asked me not to make you lie, don't make me lie to him. Getting her out of the country was a huge step in the right direction for the trial.

Paul: I thought it was great and I do agree that Louis was amazing in the scene. He put her in the position she would likely find herself in and it worked to his advantage.

Was Rachel right to go hear what Gibbs had to say?

Christine: She should have walked away. There was no good reason for Gibbs to be talking to her alone without her attorney. Mike was right, all she wanted to do was get inside Rachel’s head.

Stacy: Oh man, I don't know why she went with her. She let her curiosity and her fear get the better of her. Rachel may have it worst of all right now though. Harvey and Mike have no choice but to stay focused on the trial and figure out ways to win, whereas Rachel has all the time in the world to dwell on every terrible, possible outcome.

Paul: It was very stupid of her. Just the slip of a tongue could have sent Gibbs on another trail.

Discuss the return of Scottie and whether her speech to Rachel will force her to rethink everything.

Christine: Scottie has never been a favorite of mine so I’m not thrilled she’s back. I thought her speech to Rachel was sort of silly as they have so many hurdles to get through before they get to the possibility that Mike might not be able to practice law again and how it might hurt their relationship. Surely if they can get through all of this mess, they’ll be strong enough to handle that together too.

Stacy: I actually like Scottie and I wouldn't mind if she and Harvey eventually got back together. As for her speech to Rachel, that was ill-timed. But, as unsure as Rachel is about what is going to happen, the one thing she is sure about is Mike and how he feels about her. I don't think she's going to let Scottie's speech get to her.

Paul: I like her. She's a very good character and I think if the circumstances were different, she'd be with Harvey. The speech made sense, but I don't think Rachel will change her mind about staying with Mike.

Are you more/ or less hopeful for Mike winning the case after this installment?

Christine: He just has to win, right? Mike and Harvey are smart. I’m still hoping they can take Gibbs down but it’s not going to be easy. If she backs away at this point (or loses) she looks like a fool. Mike’s going to need all of his and Harvey’s intelligence and more than a little bit of luck to pull this one off.

Stacy: I can't see him not winning this. That doesn't mean I don't think there will be any consequences, but I just can't see any other outcome than Mike prevails.

Paul: I have no idea how it's going to play out, but I think he might lose and the next season will start with a time jump.

Tell me your predictions for how the final 3 episodes will play out.

Christine: I wish I had some. Every week this case takes a twist I didn’t see coming. I hope to see Jessica kick some ass, Mike and Rachel stay together and Harvey and Donna somehow grow closer. All that said, it wouldn’t surprise me if someone we love ends up behind bars in the end.

Stacy: Well, I am curious what will happen now that Gibbs has Trevor, but I'm sure Mike and Harvey will come up with something to handle it. I really don't know how this is all going to play out, but I can't see it going completely the way the firm wants it to. While I think they will win the case, something bad and unexpected will also happen.

Paul: Trevor is going to be against Mike, but they will find a way to undermine him. Louis and Sheila will reunite. Mike and Rachel won't marry.
