TV Ratings Report: The Oscars Reign Supreme

The Opening Ceremony pulled in 22 million viewers and a 5.9 rating among people 18-49.
Then the Awards Ceremony managed 31.8 million viewers and a 9.7 rating.
And elsewhere around the dial:
- On CBS, 60 Minutes (5.7 million/0.8 rating) and Last Vegas (3.7 million/0.7 rating) populated the night.
- On NBC, Dateline (5.6 million/0.9 rating) led into movie special, Ted (1.9 million/0.6 rating).
- And on Fox, The Simpsons (2.2 million/0.9 rating) Cooper Barret (1.4 million/0.5 rating), Family Guy (1.7 million/0.7 rating) and Bordertown (1.4 million/0.5 rating) were all encores.
