Halstead's new security job turned deadly on Chicago PD Season 3 Episode 17 when he and his partner were robbed during a bank run.

Intelligence pulled out all the stops to find the killer, but Halstead was barely able to hold it together.

Below, TV Fanatics Elizabeth Harlow and Stacy Glanzman are joined by super fan Amy Perrin to discuss Ruzek's unjustified jealousy of Roman, how far Halstead would have gone in those five minutes, and our favorite scenes.

Is Ruzek right to be jealous of Roman?

Amy: No. Roman may like Burgess, but they are just partners. Ruzek was an idiot, and that is why he lost Burgess. If his goal is to win her back he is going about it all wrong.

Elizabeth: Hmm, jealous of the most boring, mopey person ever? Besides the fact there's obviously nothing going on between the two, jealousy like that isn't hot.

Stacy: No, it doesn't matter if Roman is interested in Burgess, Ruzek blew the relationship and he has no right to be jealous of him or anyone else. If he wants Burgess back, he needs to focus on his commitment issues.

Will Halstead's PTSD continue to haunt him?

Amy: More than likely, as PTSD is a tough thing to deal with, and I know because I suffer from it. I think Halstead would benefit greatly from counseling, even though it would be difficult for him to ask for that kind of help.

Elizabeth: While in the real world PTSD doesn't just go away, I doubt we'll see more of Halstead's symptoms for a while. It will only come back up if the writers need it for a story.

Stacy: I suspect we'll see it build up and come back at some point in the near future. I think it would benefit Halstead to talk to Dr. Charles sometime.

What do you think would have happened in those five minutes if Halstead hadn't been interrupted? How far would he have gone?

Amy: I am quite sure that he would have beaten that guy up really well, but not to the point of almost killing him.

Elizabeth: Ooh, I'm not sure. He might have gone too far – unknowingly, of course.

Stacy: I think he would have let loose and gone further than he intended. Voight might have needed to step in and pull him off before he went too far.

Are you surprised Halstead's security job is over already?

Amy: Not really, as it seemed sort of a strange gig for him anyway. Also, anytime one of the team takes on something outside of Intelligence it never lasts very long.

Elizabeth: No. Like Amy said, these moonlighting gigs never last.

Stacy: I thought it might last another episode or two, mostly because it seemed like they were going to try to use Brianna to drive a wedge between Halstead and Lindsay, but I'm glad it didn't go there.

What was your favorite quote or scene?

Amy: I really loved the ending when Voight told Halstead that he was lucky to have him on the team, and then Halstead went the bathroom and just broke down crying. All of that was very powerful, and Jesse Lee Soffer did a great job.

Elizabeth: I agree with Amy that that was a really powerful scene. I thought Charisma Carpenter did a really great job with her role as well – it helped that they fleshed out her character so well.

Stacy: I agree that was a great scene, but I really enjoyed the mini support group at Molly's with Halstead, Mouse, and Dr. Choi. It helps to talk to people who have been through similar situations.
