TV Ratings Report: Blindspot Returns To Series Lows
Paul Dailly at . Updated at .NBC got a mixed bag for the return of their Monday line up.
Starting things off was The Voice with 13.2 million viewers and a 3.4 rating among people 18-49. In total viewers, the veteran singing competition was up a little, yet down in 18-49. This is a very positive return for the show.
Then, Blindspot returned after a 3 month break with 6.8 million viewers and a 1.8 rating. These numbers mark series lows and it leaves me wondering if it was really a good idea to have such a long break to ensure it was airing with The Voice.
And elsewhere around the dial:
- On CBS, Supergirl (6.8 million/1.4 rating), Scorpion (9.2 million/1.5 rating) and NCIS: Los Angeles (7.9 million/1.2 rating) were down.
- On ABC, The Bachelor (8.1 million/2.5 rating) was up and Castle (5.3 million/1.1 rating) was even.
- On Fox, Gotham returned in line with its fall run (4.2 million/1.5 rating and Lucifer (3.9 million/1.3 rating) hit a new low. Lucifer needs to level off here if it has any hope of returning for a sophomore run.
- And on The CW, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (0.9 million/0.3 rating) and Jane The Virgin (0.9 million/0.3 rating) matched their series lows.
