Dawson gained custody of the cutest kid in the world on Chicago Fire Season 4 Episode 23 , and Casey thankfully turned down Susan's advances.

Below, TV Fanatics Elizabeth Harlow and Stacy Glanzman are joined by super fan Amy Perrin to discuss that cliffhanger, our thoughts on the finale, and our hopes for Chicago Fire Season 5.

Will Grant hurt anyone? How do you see the cliffhanger playing out?

Elizabeth: Well, he's certainly going to try to hurt someone, I'm just not sure who -- Kelly, Stella, or himself. If someone dies, it'll be Grant, but I could see the other two possibly being injured.

Amy: Yes, I definitely think he is going to try and hurt Stella or Kelly. Throughout the episode he was professing his undying love for her one minute, and then verbally attacking her the next. He is very unstable, and the drugs only add to that.

I highly doubt that Stella or Kelly will be killed, but I can definitely see one of them being injured. I hope that Grant is written out soon, either via his death or storyline directed. I do not like his character.

Stacy: He's definitely going to try, but I'm guessing Severide will gain the upper hand and stop him before he does any serious damage. Plus, they're both firefighters, so they're probably light sleepers. Grant might end up dead by the end of it though.

Dawson got Louie! React! How will the show handle Dawson with a kid next season?

Elizabeth: I'm so excited that this adorable kid is going to be around, and even though the studio style of her new place is stupid, living with the Herrmanns is ideal in that she can probably just leave Louie with Cindy when she's on shift. And there's built in socialization for him.

I understood her wanting Matt to want Louie, but I also felt like she maybe wasn't really hearing him when he invited her to move in...give the guy a chance to connect with kid and everything will work out.

Amy: I am thrilled that she got Louie. I was irritated that she was being such an idiot about Matt though. Matt wants to marry her, and I do believe that he is onboard with Gabby fostering Louie, but she wouldn't even barely let him get a word in edgewise.

No way did I think Herrmann's apartment could be transformed so nicely, but they did an amazing job. I still think Gabby was stupid not to take Matt up on his offer though, so hopefully she will smarten up over the summer.

Stacy: I'm excited that she got Louie too. Elizabeth makes a good point about Cindy watching Louie, but that's definitely a lot to ask a woman who already has five kids. Still, it makes sense storywise. I think it's only a matter of time until Casey falls in love with him and they become a family.

Will Casey continue working with Susan?

Elizabeth: She did a good job of setting him with the right people, but not hitting on your candidate (especially if they're publically involved with somebody) is kind of rule number one for political consultants. I mean, I guess you could do it as a test of the candidate's integrity, but that's messed up.

Amy: I hope not. I liked Susan up until this episode, but I could tell that she was putting the moves on Casey. I was praying that he wasn't going to take her up on her offer to go up to her hotel room.

Stacy: If he continues working with her, he has to tell Dawson what happened right? I don't think she'd be okay with that, so my guess is we won't be seeing her anymore.

What are your thoughts on the finale as a whole? How did it stack up to previous seasons?

Elizabeth: Even though the final scene should have had me on tenterhooks, it just wasn't as "cliffhangery " as others. The fire that killed Shay still wins. Nothing felt as high stakes as that.

Amy: I thought the finale was really good. I did not become a regular viewer of Chicago Fire until last season, so I cannot really say how it stacked up to the first two seasons. Besides seeing an episode here and there with Shay in it, I didn't really watch the first two seasons. I reckon it would be good for me to do that at some point.

Stacy: Amy, you definitely should go back and watch the first two seasons, because they were the best ones. I liked this finale better than last year's, but agree with Elizabeth that the second season was the best.

Grade Chicago Fire Season 4.

Elizabeth: B+. Not only was it a little sickly sweet and predictable at times, but there were a few arcs that were drawn out way too long (hello Chili's alcoholism) and others that had little to no real resolution or point (hipsters moving into the neighborhood).

Amy: I agree with Elizabeth, and give it a B+. Chili's alcoholism storyline did go on too long, and her arc in general was too long for me.

Stacy: I'll give it a B. It was better than last season, but not as good as the first two. As mentioned, Chili's storyline was drawn out, as was the Patterson/Riddle drama in the early part of the season.

What are your hopes for next season?

Elizabeth: That Casey and Gabby finally get their ish together. This will they/won't they is getting tired.

Amy: Again, I concur with Elizabeth. I would love to see Casey and Gabby get married, and for her and Louie to move back in with him. I would also enjoy never having to see Grant again, after the season premiere.

Stacy: I concur on Dawson and Casey getting married. I'd also like to see some movement between Brett and Jimmy, and a real love interest for Otis (what happened to his bar girl?).I also hope Severide's bad luck with women is over for awhile.
