Frequency and No Tomorrow: First Looks at New CW Shows!

at .

Leonard Snart will be a character across all of the DC series on The CW come fall.

But Peyton List, who played his sister on The Flash, has her own show coming out.

She stars on Frequency as the daughter of a cop who was killed 20 years earlier.

That cop had a love for the ham radio, something he taught her.

Years later, after he had gone rogue and died in the streets, she picked up the radio again on a stormy night.

That's when they reconnect against all the odds and across time.

But she soon discovers her valiant efforts to save her father change time.

And she's the only person who remembers all of it in the present.

Yes, it's exactly like the 2000 movie of the same name, and that movie could have been 20 hours long, and I would have watched ever minute twice.

It must be because of people like me a new show was born!

Also coming to The CW this fall, and airing after The Flash, will be No Tomorrow.

It's every girls dream to run into the hot guy in the street to set the mind whirling.

And then to find out there is a package delivered to your house in his name.

What are the odds??

Probably as good as discovering the guy might be one crayon shy of a full box because he thinks the world is ending in a little over eight months.

Thus begins a strange but what appears to be a rather pleasant and engaging love affair.

Girl meets boy, boy is sort of nuts, girl rolls with it.

Will girl just give into it or will they find something real and live beyond the eight months?

Or will the world really end?

That would certainly pitch the tale into a different direction down the road.

Check ouf the trailers for both and let us know which you will be watching when fall arrives!

1. Frequency First Look

In this reimagining of the 2000 New Line film, Peyton List stars as a female police detective who in 2016 discovers she is able to speak via a ham radio with her estranged father (Riley Smith), whose also was a detective but died in 1996. They forge a new relationship while working together on an unresolved murder case, but unintended consequences of the ‘butterfly effect’ wreak havoc in the present day. Devin Kelley, Lenny Jacobson, Anthony Ruivivar and Daniel Bonjour also star. This fall following Arrow.

2. No Tomorrow First Look

The series centers on a risk-averse quality-control assessor (Tori Anderson), who falls in love with a freewheeling man (Joshua Sasse) who lives life to the fullest because he believes the apocalypse is imminent. They embark on a quest together to fulfill their individual bucket lists, with comedic and poignant results. Sarayu Blue, Amy Pietz, Jesse Rath and Jonathan Langdon also star. Airing this fall on The CW after The Flash.

The CW Quotes

Alice: These diaries are your past, and your past is crushing you. Edgar says that...
Betty: What, Mom? What does some guru who’s running a heaven’s gate commune for pregnant runaways and wives of serial killers have to say about my diaries?
Alice: We know that you look down on the Farm, Betty. But, Edgar has done nothing but help me. He’s encouraged me to embrace everything that I was ashamed of and become the best version of myself.

Veronica: What's happening out there? Do we know? Is it about me?
Jughead: I have a strong inkling, and no. Also, I'd let it go.
Veronica: Yes, but you're you and I'm me. You do you, girl. I'll be back.
[She leaves]
Kevin: What was it like before she got here? I honestly cannot remember.
