The Walking Dead Season 7: Who Got Promoted?

at .  Updated at .

How many series regulars are too many? Who cares?!

That's what we say when learning we'll be seeing a lot more of Jeffrey Dean Morgan as bat wielding maniac Negan on The Walking Dead Season 7, as he's been promoted to series regular.

And he's not alone!

Our friend Xander Berkeley has also been promoted.

In case you forgot what part he's playing in the zombie apocalypse, he's another cray cray guy, monitoring the Hilltop as Gregory.

Let's not forget our favorite fella named Jesus, who has befriended our hero, Rick.

Tom Payne will be back as that long haired lovely and hopefully in a lot more scenes.

Not looking as lovely while on screen is Austin Amelio, whose character, the Savior's Dwight, has certainly seen better days.

All of these extra series regulars brings the total to 20 before The Walking Dead 7 comes back this fall.

But the heartbreaking truth is that one of those 20 will be (or should be) knocked right off the list when the series returns, because, ummmm...we're waiting to find out who died at the hands of Negan by way of Lucille!

Can you even stand it??

And if Maggie makes it out of that one alive, the comics have her meeting her maker at the hands of the dodgy Gregory on the Hilltop.

So, it really won't be very long before the 20 series regular number is nothing more than a memory.

A sweet, sweet memory.

Who ARE all of the series regulars? Well, we're glad you asked.

Not including the four above (because why repeat ourselves), the rest of the group is below.

Andrew Lincoln (Rick), Norman Reedus (Daryl), Steven Yeun (Glenn), Lauren Cohan (Maggie), Chandler Riggs (Carl), Danai Gurira (Michonne), Melissa McBride (Carol), Michael Cudlitz (Abraham), Lennie James (Morgan), Sonequa Martin-Green (Sasha), Alanna Masterson (Tara), Christian Serratos (Rosita), Josh McDermitt (Eugene), Seth Gilliam (Father Gabriel), Ross Marquand (Aaron) and Austin Nichols (Spencer).

Who do you expect to make it out of the premiere alive? Who do you expect to make it out of The Walking Dead Season 7 alive?

Do you follow the comics and put faith into what was written? Will they follow those deaths even if they may come staged at different times throughout the series?

Weigh in, do a happy dance, think all things Walking Dead!! Don't forget, you can watch The Walking Dead online if you need to catch up. And you do, if you haven't!
