17 Gilmore Girls Moments That Definitely Made You Swoon

at .

Lorelai and Rory Gilmore were the luckiest ladies on television when it came to love.

Both of the beloved Gilmore Girls had suitors who clamored for their hearts, romancing them in ways that most of us can only dream of.

Whether you're Team Dean, Team Jess, Team Logan, Team Luke, or Team Christopher, there's no denying that when these guys got romantic, your heart skipped a beat.

Relive some of the most romantic (and sexty) Gilmore Girls moments right here, and if you don't see your favorite, add it in the comments below!

1. Luke Can Waltz

Who knew that the gruff diner owner in a baseball cap and flannel could also cut a rug? Luke caught Lorelai off guard with his dancing feet, and waltzed right into her heart...as if he didn't already have a place there to begin with.

2. Dean Makes Rory a Car

Dean declared his love for Rory on their 3 month anniversary...along with the news that he was building her a car. Why? That's simple. She didn't have one, and he didn't want her to have to ride the bus to school anymore. Our high school boyfriends were not that sweet...or mechanically adept.

3. Jess Almost Smokes at the Gas Station

There's just something hot about a bad boy, cigarette in hand, leaning up against a gas pump, waiting for his new girlfriend to arrive. Clearly Rory agreed. She swooned and then immediately locked lips with her beau. FYI...he didn't smoke the cigarette.

4. Logan Saves the Day

The Yale Daily News isn't going to come out, so Rory has to cancel her date with Logan. Lucky for Rory, Logan's more than a handsome face. He helps her rally the troops, provides her with some content, and uses his family name to ensure that the paper comes out on time. BUT THAT'S NOT ALL...he also made sure he and Rory could still have their date, pulling a romantic feast out of a desk drawer.

5. Jess Wrote a Book

Jess disappeared for a bit, giving him some time to grow up a bit from his rebellious teen years. When he returned he won our hearts by announcing what he'd been up to...sitting down and writing a book. We have no idea what The Subsect is about, but the fact that dropout Jess actually wrote a book was enough for us to want to read it!

6. Christopher Creates a Drive-In

Everyone knows how to woo a Gilmore girl...but few have succeeded pulling off a date as elaborate as Christopher when he had 'Funny Face' projected on the side of a barn for Lorelai. Love or hate Christopher, you have to admit that it was a swoon-worthy moment.

7. Luke Makes An Ice Skating Rink

Lorelai is angry with snow, and feels that the fluffy white stuff has betrayed her. Luke doesn't want Loreali to be a grump, like he is, so he surprises her with her very own ice skating rink on her front lawn, something he learned from his late father. Be more perfect, Luke. We dare you.

8. Luke Finds a Jeep

Lorelai's Jeep drove its final journey and Luke helps her car shop. When he realizes that she doesn't want a new car and really just wants to fix her beloved mode of transportation, he calls around to find an exact match that will allow her to replace her engine. It's simple. It's sweet. It's thoughtful. It's so...Luke.

9. Jess Looked it Up

Rory is going to Yale, but Jess is staying in Stars Hollow. Will they be able to make a long distance love work? Will they be too far apart? According to Jess, 22.8 miles is nothing. That's right, ladies. Jess looked it up.

10. Dean Isn't Too Tall

When Rory's frenemy Louise clearly hits on Dean by asking about his height, right in front of Rory, he's not oblivious to the games that the little vixen is playing. Rather than feed into Louise's games, Dean simply puts his arms around Rory, and asks if he's too tall for her. Smart. Subtle. Swoon.

11. Logan Starts Sexting

With Logan overseas, Rory worries about their new non-existent sex life. When Rory send him a sext, and doesn't get a reply, she thinks she's made a mistake. Until a 2am phone call to Logan puts her mind at ease. It turns out, he sent one back and Rory missed it. And now he wants to stay up and sext her all night.

12. Jess Turns the Sprinklers Back On

When the lawn sprinklers won't shut off, Rory immediately calls her boyfriend, Dean, for help. But when Dean takes too long to answer his beeper (beepers, guys...), Rory raced off to find help from someone else. Jess easily tackles the sprinklers...but turns them back on when he realizes Dean is on his way.

13. Luke Stays Up All Night

Stars Hollow wants to throw Rory a going away bash to end all bashes, but Babette's ankles are swollen, which can only mean a downpour that jeopardizes everything. Luke stayed up all night, gathering every tent and raincoat in Stars Hollow and sewing them together to create a ten big enough to cover the town square. He cooks AND he sews. Where can we get a Luke?

14. Luke Makes a Santa Burger

When Lorelai gets uninvited to Richard and Emily's Christmas party, she needs a little holiday cheer. Grinchy Luke's heart grew that day, and he whipped up a Santa Burger that warmed Lorelai's heart.

15. Logan Asks Lorelai for Help

When Logan can't get through to Rory, and can't get her to listen to his apology, he takes a leap of faith and enlists the help of the only person he knows Rory will listen to: her mother, who doesn't like him very much. Logan swallowed his pride and begged for her help, and in that moment, it was impossible not to love Logan.

16. Luke is All In

On his first date with Lorelai, Luke pulls out a horoscope she gave to him the day they met. He saved it in his wallet for years. He wanted to make sure that Lorelai understood clearly that when it comes to their new romance, he is, indeed, all in.

17. Logan's Surprise Visit

Rory thinks Logan is in London, but he's actually up on the roof, with a surprise dinner under the stars planned for his girlfriend, who he hasn't seen in months. Who cares what kind of wine he brought? No one, actually, because his sweet surprise is more than enough for Rory.

Gilmore Girls Quotes

Lorelai: Hi, Mom.
Emily: Lorelai, my goodness, this is a surprise. Is it Easter already?
Lorelai: (sounding uncomfortable) No, I just, uh, finished up my business class and I thought I would stop by.
Emily: To see me?
Lorelai: Yes.
Emily: Well, isn't that nice. Come in.
Lorelai: Thanks.
(They walk to the living room.)
Lorelai: The place looks great.
Emily: It hasn't changed.
Lorelai: Well, there you go. How are the girls at the bridge club?
Emily: Old.
Lorelai: Well... good.
(Lorelai and Emily sit, opposite to each other)
Emily: You said you were taking a business class?
Lorelai: Yeah, mmhmm, yeah. I'm taking a business class at the college twice a week. I'm sure I told you.
Emily: Well, if you're sure then you must have. (she pauses) Would you like some tea?
Lorelai: I would love some coffee.
Richard: (calling from another room) Emily? I'm home.
Emily: We're in here.
(Richard walks into the living room)
Lorelai: Hi, Dad.
Richard: What is it, Christmas already?

Lorelai: (speaking to Luke) Wow, you look nice. Really nice.
Luke: I had a meeting earlier at the bank. They like collars. You look nice, too.
Lorelai: I had a flagellation to go to.
Luke: So, what'll you have?
Lorelai: Coffee, in a vat.
Rory: I'll have coffee also. And chili fries.
Luke: That's quite a refined palate you got there.
(Luke walks to the counter)
Lorelai: (to Rory) Behold the healing powers of a bath.
