Syfy Renews Dark Matter and Killjoys!

Syfy has finally found a winning combination for Friday nights.
Today the network announced it will be renewing both Dark Matter and Killjoys for an additional season.
This news come just as the programs are ending the runs of their current seasons.
The Killjoys Season 2 finale will air tomorrow night, and in the words of our reviewer, Hank Otero, "Mind Blown!!!"
It certainly doesn't sound like you're going to want to miss Killjoys Season 2 Episode 10, "How to Kill Friends and Influence People."
Dark Matter will air a double episode on Friday, September 9, and its finale on Friday, September 16.
Dark Matter follows the story of a crew full of amnesiacs who found themselves on a derelict ship in the middle of nowhere.
With no idea how they got there or who they were, they have worked together calling each other numbered names to survive a voyage filled with betrayal and secrets.
This season they found themselves in an intergalactic conspiracy, searching for a device that may hold the key to victory.
Not to bad for a bunch of people with no identity to start, right?
The series features Melissa O’Neil, Anthony Lemke, Alex Mallari Jr. and Jodelle Ferland with Roger Cross and Zoie Palmer.
Killjoys is the story of three interplanetary bounty hunters, sworn to remain unbiased as they hunt down deadly warrants throughout the quad.
Of course, unbiased is a lot easier said than done.
Starring Hannah John-Kamen as Dutch, and Aaron Ashmore and Luke Macfarlane as brothers John and D’avin, Killjoys incorporates the themes of family, politics and how to determine what is right and wrong.
Syfy has some other interesting shows on tap, including Aftermath, starring Anne Heche and James Tupper, anthology series Channel Zero and Incorporated.
Van Helsing, of which Syfy has already given fans a taste with an early sneak peek, will be premiering soon, as well as the returns of Z Nation, The Expanse and The Magicians are going to keep viewers sticking around.
It's the first time in years Syfy has had a full slate of genuine science fiction programming, and it's going over very well.
