Mindy and Ben faced their first real relationship challenge on The Mindy Project Season 5 Episode 7 when Mindy was haunted by ghosts of boyfriends past.
It was great to see BJ Novak (and his character Jamie) again on Mindy. Jamie ended up writing a book, and seeing Mindy and BJ banter about it on the Subway brought back memories.
I'll check that out, the minute I finish this tweet I'm reading.

Was there anything that lifted your mood this week like Morgan's book party dance?
Gillian Flynn's cameo was also pretty hilarious, and Mindy's Gone Girl fan-fiction is probably epic.
Carson Daly must have not been available for a guest-spot, because a fake Today Show correspondent named Cameron Winters was also at the party and told Colette and Tamra that Today is looking for a nurse to a segment.
I already have TV experience. I was featured on Sports Center when I fell off the second deck at a Braves game.

Ben is uninterested with being on TV, and naturally Mindy is appalled by his lack of enthusiasm for fame.
Is there a warrant out for your arrest? No one will notice. All white guys look the same.

After Mindy convinces Ben to take the spot on The Today Show, he quickly turns into a meme after his appearance and Mindy is stoked with his new "fame."
I'm so proud of Ben. It's like I'm a stage mom, but I can have sex with the kid.

The couple goes to a fancy restaurant to celebrate. And does anything say celebrate like posing with an old fashion coke a la Selena Gomez on Instagram? Not according to Mindy.
Too bad Ben is still not interested in being TV's resident nurse. (He's probably leaving that up to the background scrub nurses on Grey's Anatomy).
Part of me thinks if you're getting your medical advice from a TV show, you deserve to die.

Mindy's ex-fiancé, Casey, is the next ex that she crosses paths with, and his appearance did nothing but remind me that I hated when Mindy ditched her life to go to Haiti to be with him.
Morgan becomes a gif after his Today Show debut... wouldn't it be nice if becoming internet famous was this easy?

Mindy taking shots out of a bottle cap reminded the audience why she is the perfect spirit animal.
And it's not a surprise that she kissed Jamie after a few shots.
Ben dumps Mindy after the incident, leaving her single once again.
She should try applying for The Bachelor.
The episode couldn't end without another appearance by one of Mindy's ex boyfriends, and Josh was as awkward as ever.
