The Simpsons made good use of an NFL lead in.
Fox: The Simpsons (7.1 million/3.1 rating) surged to season high in the demo, while Son of Zorn (3.7 million/1.6 rating), Family Guy (3.6 million/1.6 rating) and Last Man on Earth (2.6 million/1.1 rating) picked up steam.
ABC: Once Upon a Time (3.4 million/0.9 rating) ticked down, but Quantico (2.7 million/0.7 rating) and Secrets and Lies (3.1 million/0.7 rating) stabilized.
CBS: The numbers for NCIS: Los Angeles (13.4 million/1.9 rating), Madam Secretary (9.4 million/1.1 rating) and Elementary (5.9 million/0.7 rating) are all subject to change.
NBC: It was NFL Sunday Night Football (19.2 million/6.5 rating).
