NBC Midseason Schedule: Comedies Galore, Chicago Justice & More!

at .

Four comedies and three dramas have been added to NBC's midseason schedule beginning February 2, 2017 that haven't previously been scheduled.

These are in addition to the earlier entries Emerald City and Taken, which I've added below.

Unfortunately, we still have no word on Midnight, Texas or Marlon, but we're keeping our fingers crossed!

The DC Comics comedy Poweless will be the first to air, moving into The Good Place's slot when the latter finishes up the season.

It's getting a warm and toasty spot on the roster, airing after Superstore, which is a very stable lead in.

Trial & Error is getting the biggest push, taking over the slot left open by This Is Us (SOB) after its freshman run, initially airing after a 90 minute Voice episode and then airing back to back episodes in its time slot premiere.

Great News, from the minds of some 30 Rock vets, will join Trial & Error on April 25.

The Blacklist: Redemption will air for eight weeks while The Blacklist is on hiatus. The premiere will be on Thursday February 23.

Sundays get an overhaul with the return of Little Big Shots, the premiere of Chicago Justice and the Jennifer Lopez Drama Shades of Blue in a new slot beginning March 5.
