A wedding reception, a prison break, and a huge explosion made for a dramatic cliffhanger on Bones Season 12 Episode 11. 

Below, TV Fanatics Ashley Bisette Sumerel and Christine Orlando are joined by Pam, a Bones fan, to debate Cam and Arastoo’s wedding, Jessica and Aubrey’s breakup, Zack’s last hurrah, and their guesses on who lives and dies after “A Day in the Life.”

Rate Cam and Arastoo’s wedding from 1 (Awful) to 10 (Just what I wanted!)

Ashley: I'll say 7. I would have liked the chance to see the actual wedding, but it was really nice to see the celebration of it and have everyone together.  

Pam: I give it a 2 since we got flash backs and fast forwards and no vows. It was hard to follow, but at least they got married, and for once we have our characters interacting out of the lab.

Christine: A 5. Cam was gorgeous and it was great to see everyone having fun at the reception, but I was hoping to see their vows, and for the entire event not to be surrounded by impending doom. 

Were you surprised that Jessica broke up with Aubrey?

Ashley: Yes, and it makes me so sad. I liked the two of them together, and I think it's surprising for Jessica to just break up with him that fast. I feel like there must be something going on that we don't know about yet. 

Pam: Not at all. They put them together way too quickly, practically cloning Sweets and Daisy’s story. I am holding out for Karen to go off to LA with Aubrey!

Christine: I agree with Pam about Aubrey and Jessica feeling like Sweets and Daisy part 2. I was sad for Aubrey because he really looked sucker punched, but I’ve never been completely sold on these two as a couple.

I hope Aubrey goes off and finds his own true love, because I don’t think he’s met that person yet. 

Do you think this is the last we’ll see of Zack, and if so, are you okay with how his story ended?

Ashley: I hope not. I hope we see him in the finale. I like how they handled it, for the most part, and I'm glad he got a happy ending, but it all felt a bit too fast for me. I think an entire episode focused on his hearing would have been completely appropriate.

Pam: I was never a Zack fan, so I hope we are done with his story line. I hope he goes back home to his family and has a happy life but as for caring about his story, it has long been over. They should have wrapped it up years ago. 

Christine: I’m with Ashley, I thought Zack’s hearing deserved its own episode, so I felt a little cheated, but since he’ll be locked up for another 13 months, I’m not sure what else there is for him to do in Bones Season 12 Episode 12.

If you could have a spinoff following any characters other than Booth and Brennan, who would it include?

Ashley: Oh wow, that's a hard question! I would love to see a spinoff with Angela and Hodgins, but I'd be interested to see one with Aubrey as well. Or Cam and Arastoo! Let's just get several. 

Pam: Jack and Angie, of course, they rock!

Christine: Any of the above could pull of their own show, but I’d like to see where Aubrey is headed. He’s fun and quirky and a good guy. I’d love to see what he gets into in Los Angeles.

Will everyone survive the explosion?

Ashley: I'll be surprised, and maybe even a little disappointed, if everyone comes out of it alive. At the same time, I don't actually want anyone to die.

I think going through all of this without any casualties would be anticlimactic, unless the casualty is actually a change in career for Booth or Brennan, which I could see.

Pam: I hope so. I  am just hoping Brennan didn't make the entire 12 seasons up in her mind for a book and we see 447 being how many pages were in her ONLY best selling book: Bones BOMBS~

Christine: Oh, I hope Pam is wrong about that kind of an ending. I hate it when shows do that. It always makes me feel like I’ve wasted my time.

I don’t want Booth, Brennan, Hodgins or Angela to die, but that explosion was huge! If it’s all a stunt to ramp up the drama, I might feel a bit manipulated. 

What was your favorite quote or scene from Bones Season 12 Episode 11?

Ashley: I really liked Caroline's reaction to Brennan as she explained how Caroline helped Zack. "Sometimes, not often, I underestimate you, Dr. Brennan." 

Pam: Jack Hodgins with all of his beakers and bottles mixing drinks at the reception and making up names for his inventions after Cam and Arastoo.

Christine: That Christine and Hank were at the wedding! Kids are such fun at weddings and I thought this really showed how they are all family.
