WHOA.

That's about all I can muster after Game of Thrones Season 7 Episode 4, which featured some of the series' most intense scenes to date.

The final ten minutes were tied up in a beautiful, epic package, and I can't help but think where the heck things are going to go from here. 

Daenerys is, of course, worried about losing the war, so it was an amazing decision for her to hop on Drogon to cause some drama of her own. Too many of her allies have died for her to sit around and allow more to fall. 

That said, I genuinely feared for Drogon's life. The moment Bronn got behind the the weapon of mass destruction aimed to kill dragons, I wanted Daenerys to leave the fight. 

Now, I don't know what she was thinking by attempting to take down the machine after Drogon was hit because she should have left the scene. There was a genuine chance that both she and Drogon were going to die. 

It makes me think she wanted to send a message to the Seven Kingdoms. She wanted everyone to know that she is not someone who does not get involved in the fighting, and that's a good statement to make. 

I gasped when Jaime picked up the spear to make his way over to Daenerys. Let's face it; he was not going after the dragon. The spear was not big enough, so Daenerys was the one in his sights. 

Drogon breathing the fire and sending Jaime into the depths of the water was a fantastic scene and all, but now I'm concerned about whether Cersei's boyfriend/brother/baby daddy is going to live to fight another day. 

With Jaime's fate in limbo, it's becoming increasingly apparent that Daenerys is losing her trust in Tyrion. All of his decisions on Game of Thrones Season 7 have paved the way for disaster. 

He did not want her to join in the battle, and there's a part of me that thinks Tyrion still trusts Jaime enough to ditch the mother of dragons. Jaime has long been the nicer sibling to the imp, and I was so sure Tyrion was going to do something to help his brother escape with his life. 

If you recall, Oberyn was fighting for Tyrion's life in the trial by combat on Game of Thrones Season 4. When he died, it sealed Tyrion's fate, but then Jaime opted to help his brother out. 

There's a part of me that believes Jaime and Tyrion could make things right with one another, but Jaime will need to turn on Cersei first, and that's something that will likely happen if he escapes from that big fire breathing moment. 

Now that the big battle has come and gone, Cersei is going to be livid that she does not have the upper hand anymore. Nobody should ever rule out a Targaryen who is the mother of three dragons. 

You've just won the biggest prize in the world. What could you possibly have to be upset about? Come on, you can tell me. Queen of thorns give you one last prick in the balls before saying goodbye?

With her trust in Tyrion depreciating by the minute, Daenerys' friendship with Jon is on the up, and I'm quite alright with that. Despite her comments about bending the knee, the duo embarked on an informative trip to the past.

It even helped Daenerys come to her senses about the White Walkers, so there's that. What I find great about this season is the brisk pace of everything. 

Daenerys was shouting the odds at Tyrion in Dragonstone in front of Jon Snow one minute, and the next Jon was telling Theon that the Queen is gone. 

Yes, THAT happened. Jon Snow finally crossed paths with Theon again, and you could tell Jon wanted to smack the living daylights out of the disgraced Greyjoy brother. 

He may have helped Sansa, but Jon is a little less forgiving than his sister. I do expect Jon to make a strike at Theon at some point down the line, but maybe Sansa will be around to save the day. 

Over at Winterfell, the drama went into overdrive as Arya finally returned home. It felt like her story was coming full circle in a lot of ways, and it was great we finally got to see her reunite with her sister and brother. 

I laughed out loud at the guards at the gate not allowing her to enter. She's a smart young woman and used her wit to her advantage to gain entry. The scene with her and Sansa meeting in the crypt was sad because they both witnessed Ned's death. 

Sansa was at one side of Joffrey, while Arya was in the crowd below. They've both went through some terrible things, and even Arya thought her family would be dead. 

Hearing that Sansa was defending the North in Jon's absence must have been music to Arya's ears. Just when things seem to go right for her family, something always goes wrong. 

Guard 1: Eh, oh, where you going?
Arya: In there. I live here.
Guard 1: Fuck off.
Arya: I am Arya Stark, this is my home.
Guard 2: Arya Stark's dead.
Arya: Send for Maester Luwin or Ser Rodrick. They'll tell you who I am.
Guard 2: There's no Rodrick here.
Guard 1: Maester's named Walcolm.
Arya: Go ask Jon Snow then, the King in the North. He's my brother.
Guard 1: He's a thousand miles away.
Guard 2: Look, it's cold and we're busy, so y'know, best fuck off.
Arya: If Jon's gone, who's in charge of Winterfell?
Guard 2: The Lady of Winterfell... Lady Stark?
Arya: Which Lady Stark?
Guard 1: You tell us. You're the one impersonating her sister.
Arya: Tell Sansa her sister's home.
Guard 1: Lady Sansa is too busy to waste her breath on you. Just like us, so for the last time, fuck off.
Arya: I'm getting into this castle one way or another. If I'm not who I say I am, I won't last long. If I am and Sansa finds out you turned me away...

These young women have come so far, and it's been pretty fascinating to watch it all play out over the years. I don't expect Arya to stick around for long because she has her list to deal with. 

Did anyone else laugh out loud when Sansa thought she was joking about the list? Then, when it was confirmed, she realized just how powerful her younger sister had become. 

With Littlefinger realizing the Starks are reuniting, he's no doubt worried that he's going to struggle to hold any power in the North. For a few weeks now, I've questioned whether Sansa is too enamored with him to understand what he's up to. 

Thankfully, she confirmed that she knows what he's like, so hopefully, she does what's right and takes him out before he strikes first. 

"The Spoils of War" was a phenomenal episode that succeeded in so many ways. Everything is coming full circle, and you would think that we were already on to the final season of the show. 

It's bittersweet to know that we have just nine more episodes of the show left, but with the crazy pace and big reveals, it's the best decision to end it on a high. 

Other tidbits from the episode:

• Arya sparring with Brienne was so much fun. Brienne felt she was taking liberties by fighting her, but was pleasantly surprised by the end result. 

• I'm not digging Bran at Winterfell. Yes, he's the Three-Eyed Raven, but it would have been good to see a more vulnerable side to the character as he reunited with another of his siblings. 

• Poor Meera. That's about all I can say after that moment between her and Bran. 

• Bronn is generally some comic relief, but he was a bit all over the place this week. All he seemed concerned with was getting some form of payment. Maybe if he saved Jaime, Cersei will let him live.
