Wynonna Earp Season 2 Episode 10 Review: I See a Darkness

at .

Things aren't looking good for Wynonna or Doc as we head towards the final two episodes of the season.

On Wynonna Earp Season 2 Episode 10, Team Wynonna raced to find a cure for Nicole after she was attacked by Widow Mercedes, but Waverly made a decision that drastically changed the team's dynamics.

The Team is Ready

Waverly is definitely not thinking straight. It seems out of character for her not to have trusted Wynonna to get the anti-venom. Waverly knows her sister is true to her word.

I get that this was a life or death situation, and she was feeling guilty for the fight and like she needed to do something now, but handing over the third seal just didn't feel right – even with Dolls' urging.

Sure, Waverly tried to find an alternative route by approaching the Blacksmith's sister for help, but she still could have held onto the ring for a short amount of time before giving it to Beth.

That would have been more like Waverly. Nicole is the love of her life, but Wynonna is her sister. There should be a stronger bond there.

But maybe it was the introduction of Shay that screwed up Waverly's mind even more. I wasn't too thrilled with another new character being thrown into the Wayhaught romance mix. The Rosita/Waverly kiss on Wynonna Earp Season 2 Episode 9 was already more than we needed.

I wasn't aware that this was supposed to be a supernatural soap opera, but with the continuing drama, it's starting to look that way. Every relationship doesn't need to be complicated. It's okay if there's one happy romance, and fans would appreciate a happy Wayhaught. I know I would.

Crying - Wynonna Earp Season 2 Episode 10

But now we have a wife to deal with who apparently already knows about Waverly and Nicole making the whole situation even more unappealing.

Considering that Waverly just majorly mucked things up in Purgatory, her focus should be on how to fix the problem.

Yeah, her memory of Wynonna is gone, but how long is that going to last?

It was too convenient that the Blacksmith's sister just happened to be at the right place at the right time when Waverly needed her. It's amazing how things work on shows sometimes.

I wasn't even aware the Blacksmith had a sister or that Greta was angry about what happened to her. If she was so pissed off, why didn't she go after the Earps earlier, especially if she knew the demon trophy was at the bar since that's ultimately what she wanted?

It's been how many episodes, and she waited until now to seek her revenge? That seems a little hokey. Sorry, but it's true.

Nedley and Waverly - Wynonna Earp Season 2 Episode 10

It also was a surprise to find out Wynonna gave the ring to Nedley for safe keeping. That came out of left field. Trustworthy or not, Nedley would not be the person Wynonna would choose for such an important job. Wouldn't she have trusted Waverly instead?

Also, if Nedley knew how important the ring was, why keep it in a cup? His excuse that everyone knows not to touch his cup was lame. If the idea was that Nedley was going to keep the ring, he should at least have been allowed to put it somewhere logical. Nedley's not that stupid.

I'm going to guess that since everyone has forgotten about Wynonna and Doc, this will open up the door for Bobo's return. We haven't seen him since Wynonna died on Wynonna Earp Season 2 Episode 8.

The only reason he hasn't shown his face is that maybe he's not anywhere near Purgatory, and it's a long walk back. That's the only thing I can come up with for why we haven't seen him.

The Fraternal Order - Wynonna Earp Season 2 Episode 10

We have no idea where Wynonna was zapped to after Greta finished her spell, but Bobo has to be the answer. It's also unclear if everyone has forgotten about her or just the people closest to her. Is it just people in Purgatory? That would fit with my idea about Bobo.

The problem of Wynonna's baby has been solved, as well. We were given a clue when the Fraternal Order said they were the best choice to protect the child once it was born. If that's how it turns out, it will make perfect sense.

Someone has to take care of and protect the child, and Wynonna is going to be too busy trying to get rid of all the monsters and revenants in town.

The Fraternal Order taking over would be the perfect solution. But for now, someone needs to find Wynonna. And Doc, too!

Over to you. What did you think of "I See a Darkness"? Will anyone find Wynonna or Doc before it's too late?

Will anyone even remember who they are? Hit the comments and share your thoughts!
