TV Ratings Report: Empire Hits New Low
Paul Dailly at .Fox's Empire (5.1 million/1.6 rating) is a shell of its former self in the live ratings.
The once red-hot series slipped four-tenths in the adults 18-49 demo vs. its most recent telecast to mark new lows.
Star (3.8 million/1.2 rating) proved to be resilient despite the fall of its lead-in and maintained the same demo tally as two weeks ago.
ABC: The Goldbergs (5.6 million/1.4 rating), Speechless (4.2 million/1.1 rating), Modern Family (6.1 million/1.6 rating) and Designated Survivor (4 million/0.7 rating) were all on par with recent ratings, but American Housewife (4.5 million/1.0 rating) shed three tenths.
The CW: Riverdale (1.4 million/0.5 rating) and Dynasty (0.7 million/0.2 rating) were both even with their most recent ratings.
NBC: Christmas in Rockefeller Center (9 million/1.7 rating) gave both Law & Order: SVU (7.1 million/1.5 rating) and Chicago PD (6.9 million/1.3 rating) a boost.
CBS: It was two helpings of Survivor (8.6 million/1.8 rating & 7.8 million/1.7 rating) and a Bruno Mars Christmas Special (5.4 million/1.4 rating).
