Scandal is coming to an end in the next few months, but the hit drama is poised to stage a crossover with How to Get Away With Murder before it signs off for good.

Scandal star, Kerry Washington hit up Instagram on Wednesday to share a picture of herself donning Olivia Pope's signature gladiator fashion.

The location in the image was that of courthouse used on How to Get Away with Murder, so it sure seems like the two worlds will collide at some point this spring.

"Hey Ms @violadavis ❤️ check it out. This spot look familiar?! Where are you?," Washington shared along with the image.

How to Get Away with Murder star, Viola Davis responded with a picture of herself on the set of Scandal.

Surprisingly, ABC has kept the details of the meet-up between the two characters under wraps. Shonda Rhimes confirmed the crossover news later in the day with a script tease which you can read below:

Both Scandal and How to Get Away with Murder are among the craziest shows on television, and we can only imagine how the twists could be elevated with the two worlds colliding.

Olivia Pope has continued down a dark path on Scandal Season 7, so the picture could return that she will make her way back to her old stomping grounds at QPA.

But could this come at the expense of Quinn, who was apparently killed off on Scandal Season 7 Episode 7?

This would mark the first time the two Shondaland series have crossed over and would likely be the last considering Scandal's tenure on the network is coming to an end.
