The Riddler may have returned on Gotham Season 4 Episode 14, but it was the women who ruled the night.

I don't know about you guys, but I'm looking forward to whatever Lee will ultimately have in store for Sofia. I can't imagine she's going to let Jim do the dirty work for her.

No, she's going to up that badassness about 20 notches. At least I hope that's what happens.

I used to like Sofia; I really did. But she's become the Queen of Gotham without paying her dues. I get that it's all in the family, and she's gotten to where she is because of what her father, Carmine Falcone, built, but she hasn't been in Gotham long enough to deserve the title.

If anyone deserves to be Queen of Gotham, it's Barbara.

Sofia going after Lee was nothing more than a way to punish Jim. She did exactly what she said she was going to do on Gotham Season 4 Episode 13. And while I hated what she did to Lee, I had to admire the fact that she wasn't playing games or afraid to do the dirty work herself.

She wanted to make a point, and she did.

I'm not sure that Lee's smashed hand would cause such trauma that she would end up in the hospital with oxygen, but there had to be some way for Jim to find out and that is how it played out.

The only thing I hope is that it's Lee who takes down Sofia. What I'd really love to see is Lee teaming up with Barbara and the Sirens. That would be the greatest thing Gotham could ever do.

But my gut tells me that Jim and Lee are going the be the ones who team up, and while I'm not completely against the idea, I still would like to see Lee take the lead on taking down Sofia.

I mean, Lee is going to be pissed off when she wakes up. Not only is her hand smashed, but her credibility in the Narrows has been shot, and, most importantly, she's been stripped of her title.

Lee also needs to take down whoever betrayed her. Lee isn't afraid to get her hands dirty. She's more of a talk-it-out, let's-keep-it-clean type of woman, but what Sofia did is going to change her.

She's going to want revenge, and she's going to want it in a big way.

Ed is no longer going to be able to help her. He's given in to The Riddler which is both exciting and sad. I liked him working with Lee, but Oswald needs him. I'd rather see Riddler working with Oswald because Jerome's time has run out.

It's time to get rid of The Clown prototype or whatever he is, and Oswald won't be able to do it alone. I was so glad we didn't have to see Oswald grovel in front of Jerome again. I was not a fan of the new Jerome, so I hope he's gone soon.

Let Penguin be Penguin. He's got a gripe with Sofia too, so maybe he'll join the party to take her down.

I just hope that The Riddler forgets about Lee. I don't know (or can't remember) why he wants her dead, but whatever the reason, he needs to focus on something bigger and that bigger thing is Sofia.

Ivy's time is running out. I thought the whole Wayne Foundation dinner takeover was reminiscent of that time when Jerome and the Maniax held the high society group hostage. You know, Gotham Season 2 Episode 3 when Galavan killed Jerome?

Ivy's takeover wasn't as exciting as Jerome's (though I wonder how she gathered together so many bad guys so quickly), but it provided an opportunity for Bruce and Alfred to reunite.

And as cheesy as it was, it also gave Bruce the chance to put on another mask and restart his journey towards who he's supposed to be.

Bruce did well when he saw Alfred and opened up about how much the guy meant to him. It was about time he showed some appreciation for the guy who tolerated more than any sane person would tolerate from a bratty billionaire.

My parents spent their lives helping people. I was so proud of them and I wanted them to be proud of me and then I saw them get murdered. I survived because someone in my life kept me going. He's been everything to me. A teacher. A protector. He's been a father to me. I hope, I hope he can see that and give me another chance.

And speaking of bratty Bruce, I'm glad that phase is over. Bruce needs to get it together and be who he's supposed to be. I'm ready for Batman, so let's get to it already.
