Netflix has handed a 10-episode order for the series which was created by Aaron Martin.

The streaming giant must be a fan of space dramas. It recently launched Lost In Space, and that show is expected to get a Season 2 renewal.

Viewers will likely remember Sackhoff from her days on Syfy's Battlestar Galactica in which she played the role of Capt. Kara “Starbuck” Thrace.

She appeared as a series regular from 2004-2009, and her character is still one of the most memorable from the entire series.

More recently, Sackhoff appeared on Longmire, which moved to Netflix for its final three seasons after being canceled by A&E in 2014.

It's crazy to think about now, but Netflix was once in the business of saving shows canceled by other networks. Nowadays, however, it's all about the latest Netflix Originals.

Aside from those two shows, Katee has also appeared on shows such as Bionic Woman and The Flash
