Lauren Cohan may have to leave The Walking Dead behind after all.

ABC has handed out a series order to Whiskey Cavalier, a brand new spy thriller that will pair Cohan with Scandal star Scott Foley.

It follows a CIA agent who struggles in the aftermath of a shocking break-up. His luck changes when he is partnered with a new CIA operative.

As previously reported, Cohan is slated to appear in multiple episodes of The Walking Dead Season 9, but there's a good chance her character will be written out if Whiskey emerges as a success for the network.

With Cohan and Foley leading the cast, it's hard to imagine it not being at least a moderate hit. They are both great actors who will be sure to light up the screen.

ABC has also given a series order to Grand Hotel, a brand new soapy drama.

The logline read says that it is "set against the backdrop of a Miami Beach hotel revolves around the family who owns the business, the staff who run it and the explosive secrets they hide under the perfect exterior."

The cast includes Demián Bichir, Roselyn Sanchez, Chris Warren and Denyse Tontz.

Finally, The Fix has also landed a series order.

The official description reads "After losing the biggest case of her career and being shredded by the media, former prosecutor Maya Travis has left Los Angeles for a quiet life in rural Oregon."

"Eight years after her devastating defeat, the murderer strikes again, forcing Maya to return to L.A. to confront him one more time. Will she play by the rules, or will she do whatever it takes to get him behind bars?"

It stars Robin Tunney as Maya Travis, Adam Rayner as Matthew Collier, Merrin Dungey as CJ, Breckin Meyer as Alan Wiest, Marc Blucas as Riv, and Mouzam Makkar as Loni.

ABC Quotes

Aren’t we judged by how we treat people? I don’t mean as doctors. I mean as people. Especially those who don’t have the same advantages that we have. We hire Shaun and we give hope to those people with limitations that those limitations are not what they think they are. That they do have a shot! We hire Shaun and we make this hospital better for it. We hire Shaun and we are better people for it.

Dr. Aaron Glassman

Why were you rude to me when we first met then nicer to me the second time we met and now you want to be my friend? Which time was it that you were pretending?
