Quantico Season 3 Episode 10 Review: No Place is Home

at .  Updated at .

Dick Booth is the MVP of the hour, unexpectedly.

On Quantico Season 3 Episode 10, Devlin followed through with the threats he made at the end of Quantico Season 3 Episode 9 when he said he would go after the team's loved ones.

It's sad that we didn't get a chance to catch up with Lydia, but her death set the tone of the hour and showed that Connor was not messing around.

Nowhere Is Safe - Quantico

The best part of the hour is the family moments.

We catch glimpses into everyone's personal lives, and we see different sides of them. This is a nice treat, and it's unfortunate that it's not happening under happier circumstances.

Seriously, they couldn't have all gotten together for a wedding or birthday party or something? Maybe next time.

Some of the agents we've known for a while, but their family lives have been a bit of a mystery. So, it's nice to finally meet people who once played a big part in their lives.

With Mike, we see a completely different side of him as he grieved the loss of his sister.

Did anyone else find it amusing that Dick Booth could not be charmed by Shelby? Ryan should be happy about this. He knows how well Shelby got along with Caleb's father...

Alex: Is it weird that I would rather take my chances with a trained assassin than face my own mother?
Shelby: I would rather take the assassin and your mother over Dick Booth.
Alex: Going that well, huh?
Shelby: Who doesn't like me? Everyone likes me.

My favorite relationship is definitely Harry and Maisie.

She does not cut Harry any slack, and it's cute watching him and his sister argue. It's amusing to think of Harry working in the insurance business.

It's hard to picture.

Also, Harry is one of my favorite characters, so I'm a bit biased here. Which relationship did you love exploring? Did anyone else find it awfully convenient that everyone only had one family member to protect?

It's a little sad that no one got along with their family member.

Everyone seemed to be fighting, but at least Alex and her mom ended on a positive note. Was anyone else crying when Alex opened up to her mom about losing her baby?

Overall, the "case" of the week works well.

There's nice suspense with everyone in the house. Dick Booth stepping up and being a hero was all kinds of amazing, especially since he wasn't the most likable guy initially.

It would have been better if Harry, Owen, and Jocelyn were also at the house.

Their scenes weren't as intense or interesting, and Owen and Jocelyn's kiss will still take some processing. Do we ship Owen and Jocelyn? How do we feel about them?

They also should have called the rest of the team once they saw that Maya had blueprints of Shelby's mansion's security system. Yes, they were in the middle of nowhere, but they had reception, right?

So, it appears as if we're going to be stuck Connor Devlin for a while. He's our big bad of the season.

Honestly, it's hard to tell what to think right now.

A reckoning is coming.

Mike

He's not part of some looming conspiracy, and he's not plotting to take over the world. He is someone the team went after, and he wants revenge for what they took from him -- his son.

On the one hand, this is a nice change up in villains. It's not some group that Alex and company stumble onto.

Alex didn't walk her way into the center of a grand conspiracy this time around.

We witnessed the moment on Quantico Season 3 Episode 9 where the team made an enemy out of Connor Devlin. This is personal.

However, Devlin isn't as menacing as we're used to.

He's proven that he is someone you don't want to mess with, but it's on a smaller scale. He's not going after the world; he's going after our agents.

It's all part of the shift that Quantico has been making this season, so much like the early episodes of the season, it takes a minute to adjust expectations.

Hopefully, Devlin will continue to prove how dangerous he can be, and we will be in for an exciting conclusion to this, the final, season.

What are your thoughts on Devlin as the big bad?

Terrible thing when a child has to pay for the sins of the father.
