NCIS: Los Angeles Star Opens Up About Stunning Departure

at .

Special Agent Harley Hidoko (Andrea Bordeaux) is out.

After questions about her whereabouts, fans learned on NCIS: Los Angeles Season 10 Episode 1 that the character who went missing had been killed off.

Her remains were found in Mexico, according to Nell, who is somber following the mission to save Shay Mosley's son.

Hidoko's fate was left up in the air on NCIS: Los Angeles Season 9 Episode 24 when she opted to go to Mexico on her own to find the child before it was too late.

If you watch NCIS: Los Angeles online, you know that Hidoko immediately struck a chord with the team and viewers when she first showed up in 2017.

It makes sense then that fans are livid for Bordeaux to be departing the show after such a short time with it.

The actress took to Instagram shortly after the episode aired and released the following statement:

🖤H A R L E Y H I D O K O🖤 *

Thank you all for the love and support. It means the world to me. I'm gonna miss her so much.💔

* I'm so proud to have been a part of the #NCISLA team.

Congrats to the cast and crew on what I'm sure is going to be an amazing 10th season. You all deserve it and many more!

* #HarleyHidoko #BlackGirlMagic

There have been countless rumors about Bordeaux's future on the hit CBS series since May when she shared another statement on Instagram.

It was essentially a thank you to everyone who made her role on the show come to fruition.

While it was by no means a confirmation, the wording of it certainly seemed like there was some finality.
