TV Ratings Report: Brooklyn Nine-Nine Launches on NBC With Two-Year Highs

Looks like the relentless promotional campaign for Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 6 paid off. 

The comedy series returned to TV screens on Thursday night with a 1.2 rating in the demo and 3.6 million total viewers. 

This marks the highest ratings in the demo for the show since January 2017. 

All told, Nine-Nine is up 50 percent vs. timeslot predecessor, Will & Grace, so there's that. 

The Good Place returned afterward with a 0.9 rating (2.8 million total viewers), up a tenth vs. its fall finale. 

Earlier on NBC, The Titan Games slipped to a 1.7 rating (5.7 million total viewers).

Closing off the night for the Peacock network was Law & Order: SVU (4 million/0.8 rating). 

Over on Fox, The Orville recovered to a 0.7 rating (3.1 million total viewers), and Gotham was flat with another 0.7 rating (2.4 million total viewers).

On CBS, The Big Bang Theory (13.3 million/2.4 rating), Young Sheldon (12 million/0.9 rating), and Mom (9.4 million/1.5 rating) were all up, while the series premiere of Fam (7.3 million/1.2 rating) had decent ratings. 

The CW went with a special of Roswell: Decoded, which scored a 0.2 rating (0.9 million total viewers).
