The Blacklist Season 6 Episode 15 Review: Olivia Olson

at .

Red proved once again that he is a man of honor on The Blacklist Season 6 Episode 15.

He could have killed Aram for taking money from him because that's what he would have done to anyone else.

But Aram is not anyone else.

Taking a Shot - The Blacklist Season 6 Episode 15

Aram is a dedicated and loyal friend, and Red knows he was reacting to the pain and anger he felt about what happened with Samar.

That's why he took Aram on a plane ride to nowhere.

This isn't heaven. Or hell. It's purgatory, and I can still help from purgatory.

Aram

He wanted to tell Aram about the danger he'd put Samar in if he went to her. He told him how Mossad is watching hoping he'll lead them to Samar.

It was difficult for Aram to hear, but he knew Red was right.

Red had no intention of killing Aram (or taking him to Samar), and he knew Aram would eventually see the light with a little time and patience.

More than likely, Red will wipe Aram's debt to him clean because that's just the kind of man Red is.

Red also knew that Aram wouldn't be able to resist not being involved in the hunt for the bad guys once he learned they were planning an attack on innocent lives.

And to the relief of the entire The Blacklist fandom, Red bet his money on the winning horse, and the conflict with Aram is now over.

That is not to say Aram has washed his hands of it all. He might decide to take on Mossad which would be a huge mistake, but it's possible.

He might even ask for Red's help in which case Red would probably advise him against that idea.

Getting Answers - The Blacklist Season 6 Episode 15

Red is a master manipulator, and like he told Harold about Anna, he's a man who has such a grasp on human nature, he astonishes even himself.

His instincts were right about Aram, and his instincts were right about Anna.

Harold, sit. Take a breath. Smoke a cigar. Read some Calvin & Hobbes. Whatever you do to relax do it before you have an aneurysm.

Red

Anna freaked out that Red knew about Olivia Olson and that he tried to bribe the woman to join his team.

Red knew the only way he could find out what Anna was up regarding the bigger conspiracy was to set a trap using the Task Force once again to carry out his plan.

Harold wasn't pleased Red didn't share all the information, but Red didn't care.

He knew he was on the right track.

Harold Falls into Line - The Blacklist Season 6 Episode 15

Harold's respect for Red had to have gone up about ten notches after Red's theory proved true. How could he not?

Red has never steered the Task Force wrong. He doesn't have the resources to do it all himself which is why they're involved in the first place.

Whatever Anna has planned regarding the big attack, Red and the Task Force are going to find out soon enough.

Anna is playing into their hands, and they'll hopefully be able to stop the attack before innocent people die.

There is also the possibility that Olivia Olson might take Red up on his offer.

If she can't see a way out, she'll quickly come under Red's wing, eventually helping them solve the conspiracy mystery.

The problem is that Ressler is starting to meddle in things he needs to leave alone.

That might cause some serious problems for Red which might prevent him from doing what he needs to do to stop Anna's plan.

It's understandable why Liz had to tell Ressler about Red being fake Red. If she hadn't, he would have exposed what she was doing and put her and Jennifer in danger.

Arriving at the Task Force - The Blacklist Season 6 Episode 15

Still, it's maddening (my favorite term when it comes to her) that Liz has done a complete 360 about the issue even going so far as to tell Ressler how Red has kept a watchful eye on her since childhood.

She should have known that Ressler wouldn't let it go. She knows how Ressler feels about Red and that given a chance, he'd do anything he could to bring Red down.

Besides, he curious about Red's true identity and it has nothing to do with his feelings for Liz as previously suspected.

He's just a man on a pointless mission to prove a point.

There's also something else going on with Red.

Red has Patience - The Blacklist Season 6 Episode 15

It's concerning that not only is he taking pills, but he's also now giving himself shots.

It may be something as simple as diabetes (at least with the shots), but it doesn't seem likely.

Some fan theories suggest it has to do with his identity change to keep his body from rejecting his transformation.

That seems plausible, but it could also be that the transformation caused some significant side effects that would lead to disease.

Asking Question - The Blacklist Season 6 Episode 15

I'm still not buying that Red is Katarina. I can't see how that is even possible.

Still, it's going to be interesting to see how this story plays out.

Over to you!

What did you think of "Olivia Olson"?

What's going on with Red?

How far will Ressler get in his pursuit of Red's identity before Liz finds out?

Has Liz honestly given it up or will her interest be renewed once Ressler finds something out?

Will Aram try to take on Mossad?
