Are you ready for Zachary Quinto to scare the heck out of you as he once did on Heroes?
If so, you're in the right place. Quinto is taking on a role that even though I'm currently reading the book is still quite mysterious.
Christmas-themed horror is nothing new, but it always makes your heart skip a beat. Much like Happy! on Syfy, N0S4A2 will make you think twice about the wonders of Christmastime.
NOS4A2 introduces Vic McQueen (Cummings), a gifted young woman who discovers she has a supernatural ability to find lost things.
This ability puts her on a collision course with the evil and immortal Charlie Manx (Quinto).
Manx is a supernatural villain who feeds off the souls of children then deposits what remains of them into Christmasland.
Christmasland is a twisted place of Manx’s imagination where every day is Christmas Day and unhappiness is against the law.
Vic strives to defeat Manx and rescue his victims – without losing her mind or falling victim to him herself.
It already sounds kind of crazy, right? What kind of twisted could we be talking about if Manx makes everyday Christmas Day and doesn't allow unhappiness?
As it turns out, it's a hella scary story that plays out thanks to his imagination.
The cast also includes Olafur Darri Olafsson (Lady Dynamite) as Bing Partridge, Virginia Kull (The Looming Tower) as Linda McQueen, Ebon Moss-Bachrach (The Punisher) as Chris McQueen and Jahkara Smith (aka Sailor J) as Maggie Leigh.
Emmy-nominated director Kari Skogland (The Handmaid’s Tale) directed the first two episodes of the series.
