The Blacklist Season 6 Episode 21 Review: Anna McMahon

at .

All hell has broken loose, and the Task Force is up the creek without a paddle.

Anna McMahon wasn't about to let anyone mess up her plans on The Blacklist Season 6 Episode 21, and the tables were turned on Harold and the rest of the team in a big way.

Busting Chops - The Blacklist Season 6 Episode 21

Anna McMahon is a smart little vixen.

President Diaz might be involved in the conspiracy, but has no idea that that he was about to be assasinated by his own team.

It doesn't make sense that Diaz would kill himself for the greater good of whatever is planned and why.

All in Cuffs - The Blacklist Season 6 Episode 21

Presidents might be all about their legacies, but the whole thing seemed rather fishy.

If he was even thinking about reelection then suicide by assassination couldn't have been on his mind.

It does appear that his wife might be involved in some way or perhaps in some other plot.

What did she mean when she said he knew what he had to do if he wanted to run for reelection?

It also doesn't appear, at this point anyway, that climate change is involved.

Cooper is Shocked - The Blacklist Season 6 Episode 21

The Blacklist wouldn't send us on a wild goose chase, but knowing that the Germans are involved in the conspiracy is interesting.

It might be that Anna's group and the Germans want to bring about another world war which could eradicate thousands of people.

If that's the case, then replenishing the world with reslient humans makes sense.

It might even be possible that the overall plan is to rid the world of all non-whites and keep the population "pure" somehow bringing Hitler's plan to fruition.

It's a crazy thought, but makes perfect sense if you think about it long enough.

Anna Has a Plan - The Blacklist Season 6 Episode 21

The Task Force racing against the Secret Service for the dossier was a wild ride, and it was great that the FBI got the dossier first.

I'm not sure what Grimm was thinking when he hid the envelope in his jacket or even how he did it without Sandquist or the other agents knowing.

Maybe he never mailed the package out.

Still, he died to save his country and that makes him a hero.

But it's also scary to think that there are powerful people doing crazy things behind the scenes.

The Blacklist might be fiction, but who knows what's really happening in the world and all the forces at play.

Ressler Laughs for Now - The Blacklist Season 6 Episode 21

I read something interesting today about how Donald Trump once held a meeting with former FBI Director James Comey and other staff members about the importance of loyalty.

Comey said it reminded him of the type of code the Mafia would say.

And the former mob guy who said it, an informant by the name of Sammy Gravano, said some interesting things about Trump and the Mafia and how everything would be different if the Mafia ran the country.

It's a really interesting story and can be read here.

Harold and Aram - The Blacklist Season 6 Episode 21

The point is there's all sorts of stuff we don't know about and all the strange stuff happening that makes you scratch your head?

Maybe there's some truth to what the crazies are saying.

Anna was smart to turn the whole situaiton around and blame the Task Force for conspiring to assassinate Diaz.

She needed a way out and found it.

Face Off - The Blacklist Season 6 Episode 21

What she doesn't know is that Liz was hiding and saw everything happening while on the phone with Red.

I'm not sure why Anna has such a problem with Red, or why she didn't kill Red before all this mess happened.

It makes me wonder if Anna knows Red's true identity and maybe met him in the past.

I know we all don't want to believe that Red is Katarina, but the more Red talks, the more I'm starting to believe it may be the case.

We know that the DNA report proved that Red is Liz's father.

If the blood was taken from Red, then whoever imposter Red is can't be Ilya.

Harold on the Phone - The Blacklist Season 6 Episode 21

However, if the real Red is dead, who does that leave?

Katarina Rostova.

Remember on The Blacklist Season 6 Episode 19 when Red went to the bank to take money and talked about his changing face?

What if Ilya died or was killed and she took over the transformation?

It's a bizarre thought, but the evidence is starting to point to that truth.

Ressler Arrested - The Blacklist Season 6 Episode 21

Red asking Dom if his daughter was standing in front of him what would he say.

Red telling Liz about Katarina's thoughts.

Red telling Dembe how much he loved him. It was almost romantic and not in a bromance kind of way either.

But there are some things that don't make sense like when Red told Liz her mother can't hurt her.

If he really is Katarina, why would he say that?

It's going to be mindblowing when the real truth is finally revealed. That's for sure.

Ressler and Aram Arrested - The Blacklist Season 6 Episode 21

Speaking about bromances, I loved when Red told Harold how much he appreciated all Harold has done for him.

He considers Harold a friend, and he's right.

Harold might have been doing his job, but he's definitely has a soft spot in his heart for a man who has caused him so much trouble over the past six years.

So who wants to play guess the season finale cliffhanger?

I'm going to say that since Agnes is coming back to town that she'll have a part in it (I mentioned that before) and perhaps even Scottie will too.

Looking Out - The Blacklist Season 6 Episode 21

Maybe someone will kidnap Agnes. Maybe Scottie is part of the conspiracy.

Diaz is going to be assassinated and maybe Red will be blamed.

The whole conspiracy won't come to an end yet, and Anna McMahon will be part of Season 7.

Those are my thoughts.
