The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 3 First Look Finds Midge and Susie in Miami!

at .

If you haven't watched The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel on Amazon yet, it's time to get crackin' because the first look of the upcoming season has finally arrived.

For those of you cave dwellers out there, the series comes from creator Amy Sherman-Palladino and executive producer Daniel Palladino (who also direct). You might be familiar with them from a little pop culture phenomenon called Gilmore Girls.

Or maybe the one-and-done Bunheads, which ushered Sutton Foster from the stage to the small screen, was your go-to before it was unceremoniously ripped away from view.

Regardless, if you haven't watched, you are missing an utterly delightful tale full of love that also happens to feature some of the funniest dialogue in years.

The series recently earned 20 Emmy nominations for its second season including Outstanding Comedy Series, two nominations for Outstanding Directing as well as nominations for Lead Actress, Supporting Actor and two nominations for Supporting Actress.

Now, I know it's sometimes hard to understand the critics' love for a project, but this one lives up to its hype.

At the end of the third season, our beloved and newly engaged (and still married) Midge got an incredible job offer to tour with noted pop singer Shy Baldwin.

That means a long time away from her family as Midge tries to grasp the golden ring of comedy with everything she's got.

Just as that coup comes together, her reluctant bestie and no-holds-barred manager, Susie, also gets a terrific job offer — to manage Midge's rival, Sophie Lennon (Jane Lynch).

There were even more cliffhangers dangling at the end of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 2, but the possibility that the show might go onward and upward without Susie at Midge's side was one of the biggies.

That's why the first photo from The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 3 gives us hope that even if Susie took the job, she hasn't forsaken the tour with Midge.

Midge and Susie are a study of opposites in the photo as they bask in the Florida sunshine.

With the incredible set design for which the show has become known and its terrific costumes bursting with color, a stint in Miami will be heavenly, at least as a viewer!

What it brings for the characters remains to be seen, but Midge and Susie together makes our hearts sing.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Quotes

Susie: Tess, I have seen you let your tit fall out of your shirt for a free beer.
Tess: Imported beer.

That’s life. Shit happens. You should be a bigger man and just let it go. Well, I’m a woman so, fuck that.
