Chef

Jerome "Chef" McElroy was a main character voiced by Isaac Hayes on South Park until the tenth season.  The character was removed after Hayes, a scientologist, did not approved of the "Trapped in the Closet" episode.  Before then, Chef worked at the elementary school cafeteria and often provided pearls of wisdom to the boys.
