The headstrong character is the chief nurse at Richmond Trinity Hospital. This is someone that takes pride is standing up for her, even it means violating hospital policy in the process.
By focusing so much on work, however, Christina often misses out on time with her teenage daughter. She's a widow that has scarcely had time to grieve due to her work duties.

Christina Hawthorne is just wonderful at doing her job and I would be thankful if they can put it back on tv and keep doing season to season because this show is just great and inspiring to me because as a teen Christina Hawthorne have taught me I can not give up while I'm still alive.She rocks and I would love to meet Mrs.Pinkett-Smith in person one day because I love writing plays,songs,movies and television shows as well.

I love Christina and Tom, I think they have great chemistry together, I would love to see the relationship progress with more depth.
