Iris West is Barry Allen's best friend and the daughter of Detective West of the Central City Police Department.

She is currently unaware that Barry is The Flash, but has taken an interest in the superhero blogging about him frequently. This has already made her a target of metahumans looking to take down The Flash. However, she refuses to stop spreading the word about Central City's guardian angel.
