The best friend of Panthers quarterback Matt Saracen, but not on the football team, Landry Clarke often gives Matt advice and support.
His advice is often unhelpful, of course.
Front man of the Christian speed-metal band Crucifictorious, he was also Tim Riggins' personal literature tutor, at Tami Taylor's request. Landry's somewhat annoying remarks are made up for by his sense of humor and good natured demeanor.
Landry Clarke provides many of the light-hearted comic moments on the show. He harbors a huge crush on Tyra, and somehow managed to form a friendship with her, despite her previous, open dislike towards him.
