Thomas "Tom" Hughes and Margo Montgomery Hughes are a "supercouple" on As The World Turns. Currently, Tom is played by Scott Holmes and Margo is played by Ellen Dolan.

On Internet message boards, the couple is often referred by the portmanteau "Tomargo" (for Tom and Margo).

The role of Margo Montgomery Hughes has been played by four different actresses:

Margo Montgomery was the daughter of Lyla Montgomery, a nurse and aspiring singer, and Dr. John Dixon (though she did not learn John was her father until adulthood).

Margo had three siblings: Cricket Montgomery, Craig Montgomery and Katie Perretti. She initially became a nurse, as her mother had been, but later switched professions to become a police officer.

When Tom and Margo's son, Adam, was born in 1988, it was assumed that he was Tom and Margo's son, but it later came out that he was result of a fling Margo had had with Detective Hal Munson the previous year.

They later had another son, Casey. In 1999, devastated over Tom's affair with Emily, Margo began a frienship with Alec Wallace, a criminal she was investigatng, which eventually led to a romance.

When Wallace was found murdered and Margo was in his bed, unaware of how she got there (she could not remember the previous night's activities), she was charged with his murder, but was later cleared, when the real murderer was discovered.

She and Tom then reconciled.
