I really liked this episode. However, realistically, the problems should continue to grow and grow as they don't have spare parts for some things, and will always be in need of fresh water, food, and fuel. We'll see how things go, but I'm looking forward to it.
One thing that drives me crazy (other than the fauxmance) is Casey (yeah, yeah :-) arguing essentially in favour of losing the virus in order to get the ship to safe harbour. The world is dying. You have what is likely the only chance at saving what's left of the human race. If your choice is (a) save the chance and likely lose some/most of the crew, or (b) save the crew but doom humanity (including the crew), well.... it's a no-brainer! Oh yes... totally called the lost ball the moment the game started :-)
This site is acting weird. I had to sign up again and then posted a comment, but my avatar didn't show up. so I did another sign up and here I am back where I started and my comment has disappeared. I'll try to repeat it: It's about that Airstream. We thought it might have something to do with the plot but it was probably just product placement for CBS to earn extra cash, just like LaRoache's Tupperware box was. I say this because my newspaper today had a major promo story about Airstream RVs and how there is a local RV park solely for Airstreams, one of seven around the country. The lead segment featured a couple who bought and refurbished a 1972 Airstream, just like Jane's, because that was the year one of them was born. Wasn't Simon born in that year? Did he get his Airstream for that reason? See how we imagine story lines from these info tidbits? And it's all just product placement. It would be good, though, to have an episode or two in S7 with the Airstream. The article described these RV parks and the odd diversity of people there. I could see lots of story potential if Jane and Lisbon took a road trip to one and got themselves into another pickle.
Now where did my avatar go? This site is being tweaked and I have no idea how to get my avatar to show up. I'll work on it.
Remember when we all wondered why Jane was so interested in an Airstream? Well, it could have been a lead to an interesting episode but it seems it was only for product placement. Probably just like that Tupperware box was used. I conclude this because my newspaper today had a major promo story about Airstreams used locally, even with a special Airstream RV park, one of seven in the country. The story led with a segment about a couple who bought and refurbished a 1972 RV just like Jane's. Very interesting and I saw a lot of TM story potential in these Airstream RV parks in case Jane and Lisbon take a road trip to one. Very diverse people, lots of room for drama. I do wish TM would give some of S7 over to an episode or two with the Airstream.
it's fine as long as there's tidbits of olicity!
Tearing my hair. Haven't got the gist of the update on this site.
First off - liking the new commenting system, TVF. :)Second - I liked this episode. I'm a bit worried about Chris Diaz and where he is going. I agree that Nick is way too cute to be going home alone all the time, too. That ending was kind of funny w/ him and the bartender, too.
I give it an A. I agree 100 % with all of what Michelle said.
I just wrote a comment, and it just disappeared, so I'll try again. I really love this show and all the cast. They're like family to me, and I don't want to see any of them leave. Can you bring Ziva back? My only complaint is that terribly loud music. It's like music with background voices that I can't even begin to hear. Please, please, please put the music in the background so we can hear the people talking.
