First of all - loved it.
And 2nd of all, if you stopped watching the show, stop commenting on the reviews! If you didn't watch the episode, then you don't know what happened so why comment really?
Such a good episode, I want there to be 2nd season, but I can see it getting cancelled since the ratings weren't that high and there wasn't much promotion.
@ Matt, again, the commercial you're talking about was definitely not about The River...
Can I say that was some great acting by Joe Anderson(Lincoln), it was perfect - creepy, exciting and intense!
I definitely said when I was watching with my friend "If Lincoln is actually dead, I'm not going to keep watching." Although I didn't think they would do that.
@Everyone talking about the camera: it actually does look real. Bad lighting? Oh I'm sorry, they're supposed to be in the Amazon, all they have is the sun, get over it, sheesh!
Overall, good season, if they cancel it, that'll be okay. They went out with a bang (the river changing was freaking awesome!) and it was damn good 8 hours.
Definitely with you Dorreen! There was one episode I almost lost interest, but now I love it! Such as good show, it's like my replacement now that Lost is over. Season 2 please!
@nutmeg024
Thank you for saying that!!! People were making me angry about that, I think he is the author and has a major connection to the fairy tale world.
@jc
It's not Emma making mistakes, that's ridiculous. If you find a heart, normally, the person is dead. How could she possibly know about Regina's vault? Emma's not making mistakes, if Kathryn is alive then it's purely Regina setting MM up.

Absolutely agree with you on all counts! And yeah, I think Mr. Gold left the key, or possibly Henry, not absolutely sure.
Not completely how I feel about this episode, seemed like not enough happened but still wasn't horrible.
Definitely agree with everyone here about David, but I think we will end up liking him in the end. The thing that really bothered me: he's having these flashes of memories and he sees Snow and thinks its Mary Margaret who's hair has just grown immensely? He's not the sharpest tool in the shed.
I absolutely love Mr. Gold/Rumple, I definitely agree with you Matthew, that he is the 'trickster' character. And all the stuff he was bottling at the end? I'm not sure exactly what I saw in everything, but are those all the ingredients for the curse??? A token of everyone-Charming's cloak, Snow's hair.. Is that how they are individually bound by the curse?
Also loved August and Henry and where this is going!
I completely agree DH. Sure I love Mike, but his death could have been so much better if it were a surprise!
But this was a great episode, one of the best this season in my opinion. I'm glad Gaby finally began to be a little be less selfish and Lynette decided to fight for Tom! She's my favourite character so I hope she has a happy ending.
I'm just trying to think how it will end...All of them in prison? One taking the fall? I just can't seem to fathom one ending I like or atleast can not be really pissed off about... but anyways I hope if ends well!
What was your favorite scene from the episode?
Either Stefan and Damon's cute scene or all of Damon's hilarious jokes.
What did you think of the Alaric twist?
Unpredictable, but underwhelming. They could have done it better, I didn't like Meredith's involvement.
Sage or Lexi: Which vampire from the Salvatore brothers' past would you rather... hang out with?
HAHA Matt, but even though she was on 90210, still Lexi. I wanted to like Sage since she's more involved with Damon, but I just couldn't.
More surprising development: That girl's head falling off in 1912, Meredith actually being on the side of good, or Matt playing a helpful role this week?
Stefan gets crazy around blood, so no. It was too obvious to be Meredith. So hands down Matt. Does anyone remember S1's Matt? He was the stupidest guy around! I didn't know he could read let alone pick a lock. Well done Matt!
Oh and forgot to say - the one thing I loved, well only thing, about this episode was Damon lines! The chipmunk jokes were fantastic. I don't see how anyone couldn't love him.
I was definitely very underwhelmed, watched the episode late and I heard there was a major cliffhanger and then I see the Alaric bit and... I don't really care. I really wanted him or someone to have been compelled by a vamp to do these things. I think this has potential, but I don't think they did it well. There was way too much hype for this and I really hated the flashbacks.
Such a good episode! I actually like this episode more than the premiere since we saw so much of the key moments of the premiere in the promo that it didn't leave much to be desired where as this episode was suspenseful and riveting.
Such a good episode! Very heartfelt and that's the point! Parenthood is about family is one the most difficult and best things in life.
For me, I don't particularly like Jasmine, but they're okay together. I just have this gut feeling that not everything is going to smooth sailing for them.
I loved Sarah standing up for Amber! Kristina, though she had good intentions took it too far. She is probably my least favourite character.
Though I loved this episode, they really left out a lot of characters; Grandparents and Drew! Where was Drew? I love that kid. Other than Kristina's hilarious comment "Drew, well who know what he's thinking half the time." we never heard or saw him.
@gibbles:
I completely agree too! It was the foundation of the episode. I do prefer Damon with Elena, but I do also like Stefan.
I do think that Meredith could possibly be the killer, but under mind control or being threatened to do it by someone.
Honestly,the situation with Klaroline felt a little awkward at the start, but I think it's shaping up and like it now. After all, every monster has a soft spot and that spot is hardcore blonde in this case.
I have never really liked Bonnie though she is essential to the story, so this story line, although I was a little surprised by it, seems like a repeat of the death of her grandmother.
I didn't really enjoy the ending - the tree, doesn't seem to add much, I figure that this season was the original season, as last one was a werewolf one, so the originals will either die or be gone for pretty much forever by the end of this season.
