George Tucker was actually my favorite person in this episode which NEVER happens! I enjoyed his comedic moments (how instant-classic was that victory dance!?) and the more serious parts in the end too. I'm glad that he's FINALLY realizing that he and Lemon were never hot nor are they ever going to be. -Also liked that Lavon told Wade that the only thing standing between him and Zoe is himself -how cute was it that Wade bought a new shit and combed his hair like Lavon told him!? On the other hand: I can't BELIEVE what Zoe is doing back with the vet! He cheated on her with one of her New York friends before they even started going out! That bridge should be burned to the ground and YET here she is forgiving EVERYTHING, I mean: it's not like they even HAD a relationship BEFORE he ruined it, AKA there's nothing to salvage, they shold just have ended it when he slept with her friend -why oh why bring him back!?
The episode was very funny and I agree with the reviewer: it's better to drag Zoe and Wade out for some time (and not have them declare their love for eachother every week) then it'll be even better when they -some way down the road actually DO get together -then they'll be more like a Luke/Lorelai couple than a Chuck/Blair couple.
I liked that they brought DeDe and the supermarket-that's-about-to-ruin-town storylines back, that way the episodes seens less random and more well-rounded.
I also liked Wade's and Lavon's Nascar-babes-plan -it was bound to fail, lol!
I was pretty disappointed that Vanessa just confessed everything so quickly after the acciddent I'd have like to see her squirm a bit moore and try to cover it up for some more episodes it could have been more entertaining that way + then she'd have more to loose because then she'd have become closer to Liam -just a thought... :)
Also: how BORING and bad dressed were Ivy and Annie this ep? And how obvious was it that Silver isn't going with what's-his-name to New York!? GOD! But I'm exited about the sorority house burning down -I didn't really see that one coming + it'll be fun to see Austin and Dixon as partners in crime -lol!
I agree with the review, Austin and Dixon bonding-time was by far the most entertaining in the episode -I actually felt a sort of flash back to back in season 1 when Dixon and Ethan used to bond and do fun bro stuff
I loved crazy Stefan but most of all I liked the scene between Klaus and Caroline. He clearly misses his sister and what an awesome substitute to get indeed! The two cooles vamps on TV would make an awesome blond couple -the scene SO came out of nowhere, but I'm so on team Klaus -as Dan pointed out: Caroline is way too good for Tyler!
On another note: it was nice to see Jeremy go, they did it in a respectful way (him saying his goodbyes during the episoe and all) but with Junior Gilbert out of the picture, there's more room for Bonnie to be awesome again and for Matt to be more integrated in the main storyline and not just randomly beeing in the background. So all in all a very entertaining episode with a lot of progres (unlike last week... SNOOZEFEST much!? XP)
Cece is a good guess, but I still think it's Serena cuz, let's face it: the reason Will was introduced in the first place was because an emergency involving Lily - and sort of Cece as well (so they're not going to do that one again), Eric is happy over at Revenge, sorry "College" so I doubt we'll be seeing more of him ever, which really only leaves S -unless William will come rushing to Rufus' aid, LOL! PLUS Serena has been pretty much in B's shadow this entire season, so it would only make sence that she got a plot of her own.
Uuuh! It sounds very intriguing! And we all remember Annie's famous car crash and how everything turned different after that, but for the same reason, they won't do the same here (someone form the main cast kills off someone in a car crash) It has a lot of possibilities -especially because the aftermath and consequences wasn't explored to the fullest in my opinion with Annie's crash, but they won't do it again -that ship of oppertunity has sailed. But nevertheless: a car crash is always exiting, but of course Liam will live, he's one of the reasons people still watch the show (one of my reasons anyway: comic relief and hotness? I'm sold!) ;D
For the first time I actually understood why Lemon and George are together (sorta a little bit more than before this ep) I haven't felt ANY chemistry between these to from the beginning but now I get them as a couple a little bit more than before, plus I'm warming up to Lemon :)
Uh! and how cute was Wade and his pathetic airport-excuse!? SO sweet -too bad Zoe was too occupied to notice, but Lavon sure did (loved his little test)
This was the best episode so far from me: Lemon was FUN (!), we learned a bit about her wild/crazy high school-past and that Wade, George and her used to hand out back then doing crazy stuff -so cool. I loved this threesomes entire scheeming routine -and when they totally turned on eachother in Zoe's practice -CLASSIC!
I liked that Bluebell seemes to grow on Zoe and that the vet is HISTORY (what a jerk!) PLUS it felt really good to see a bit of conflict/tension between her and Lavon (it made their relationship more believable and adds another layer to it) I wasn't a fan of last weeks episode AT ALL so this felt fresh and good
-5 stars
Based on what the actors are saying, it's pretty obvious that Chair is endgame on the show and Dair is just there to pass the time and entertain us for the time beeing -I'd just wish that it was the other way around!Go Dair!!
I'm all for Lemon getting a believable personality, but springing a untill now unknown sister on us was just confusing and random -just like Lemon's personality... I liked the Zade action in this episode -especially the "so you didn't wake me up for sex"-comment -HILARIOUS! I too would really love to know more about Lavon and Lemon's past. I liked that we were introduced to Addie's husband, that way, we know a little more about her personal life, which was a nice touch -I like when they put a little meat on the background characters, so they don't just become people who tell the main characters stuff.
I'm ALWAYS exited when G returns whether it's to force S to be her friend or to force Dan to be her baby daddy, Georgina adds something fresh to the show each time she returns plus, the girl is HILARIOUS! Can't wait for her to stir up trouble at B's big event. Aint payback a BITCH!? We all know G is ;P
