I think the writers are trying to keep what works. This is the best way to do that. I'm willing to see where it goes. Bring it!
You know what would be great? If the writers did something other than run like hyperactive children on a sugar rush to the "shiny new story" and did something more with the characters they already have. Such a waste of talent going on there.
I still love the Gilmore Girls. I rewatch the series at least once every six months. So many laughs in that show.
These insane hiatus weeks are the reason people look for alternatives to cable TV. Not everyone goes weak in the knees over basketball games.
My bad.. I misremembered.
This is supposed to be six months later. So Belle could've moved on in that time.
I completely agree with you. Gannicus. Tony's relationship has felt forced from the beginning. To me, she seems like the wrong kind of woman for Tony. Also, the scenes with Tony and his dad. He's a capable agent who turns into a neurotic keystone cop when his father comes around. Please. Aren't we over that already? Character growth people.
Amelia on Private Practice was very good, but she's getting a real chance to shine here. Less about her problems, more about her skill. While we don't know what is going on with Derek and Meredith, I think while Derek is out of sight, we're getting some good sister-in-law moments with Meredith and Amelia. Amelia is getting a chance to come out of the shadow of her brothers legacy and make her own. Her and Owen? Eh.. it's cute right now. If Shondra and company take their time with it, it has some good potential. I too, would like to see more Alex and Jo moments. And absolutely more Jackson in surgery! There is more to him than his life with April. (Less her would be fabulous) -- Some mentions of Mark, his mentor, would also be good. I'd like to see Jackson grow his own confidence, also a backbone to his own career decisions. Bailey and her honey need to have some flirty going on. Bailey has changed from her Nazi days, but that part is still in there too.. Sometimes it seems like it's gotten lost. I also want to say it's been nice with Meredith having some moments with her half sister. Perhaps some moments with the Chief would be nice. For him to stop being so bumbling around her would be good too.
I'm tossing this out there- The drink Andrew drank from was not his. The coffee employee called out "Whole milk for Andrew" when Andrew sipped it, he noted that it was skim, meaning that it was Joan's drink. So they switched. Then of course.. cue Andrew falling to floor dead. Curious no?
The new design looks really good! It is much easier to navigate and find what interests me most. I didn't like the old design much because of the continually scrolling through of the various "top" articles. This is much better to me. I often recommend this site to people for reviews/recaps. The writing is decent and stays on topic. Keep up the great work and thank you all for your hard work.--Edited to add-- Also. Love the simple light up notification symbol and subsequent "pop in box" when you push it. That is excellent. Sorry for not knowing the proper terms. But wanted to let you know I like that a lot.
