  1. The Vampire Diaries Review: Witchy Washy

Not going to lie, I agree with Matt. I liked the episode but was a tad disappointed. Perhaps too much anticipation and build-up? Maybe I was just expecting TOO MUCH epic-ness?

I was very confused by Bonnie crossing over to get Elena's soul but all she really did was go to Elena in the barn...not soul Elena, human-in-transition Elena. Way too confusing. And what's all this nonsense about Elena being on both sides? When to TVD EVER say that, once a person becomes a vampire, their spirit is on the other side while their body remains a vampire on this side? Huh? Again, I also agree that there is too much reliance on magic and this was terribly explained.
  2. Teen Wolf Review: Master Disaster

@Kim "I personally think that natural-born werewolves eyes are blue, and those who are turned are gold"

Excellent theory!!!!! I do kind of think Jackson has always had some sort of genetic werewolf lineage from his birth parents and that is an interesting point based on Derek's eyes having been blue.....
  3. Teen Wolf Review: Master Disaster

I will admit I am super confused by some of the plot lines (Why did the Hales go after Jackson when he was clearly shifting back to human? Just how and when did that pill-switch plan go down? Why are Jackson's eyes that color? What is the breakdown of the packs again?)....I also think that the show is super entertaining and emotional and fun to watch. And Holland Roden and Dylan O'Brien are perpetually great actors, seriously.

I know that there was some sort of caveat as for why Jackson was first a Kamina (an unnatural abomination caused by something in his past or whatever Derek said) but that there was something he had to do or go through to become a true werewolf....I just don't know what it was...

I hope for some clearer answers next season. And I also want a better reason for Allison breaking up with Scott...plus does anyone else think Lydia took Jackson back just a little too easily considering how selfish he was with her?
  4. The Vampire Diaries Season 4 to Center Around Mysterious "Arc of Evil"

Bored Now, didn't you swear off this show and promise the rest of us that you would not return to the forum for TVD???
  5. The Vampire Diaries Season 4 to Center Around Mysterious "Arc of Evil"

Ahhh, I am so excited I could scream! Season 4 really has the potential to make it feel like we are "starting all over" again.... that epic feel of Season 1. Yay!
  6. Glee Review: We Are The Champions

I agree with you that Tina's dream had more potential! It could have been a riot. And, while I felt that some of the episode was cliche and cheesy (the winning, the being greeted with confetti)...I still loved the cliches and cheesiness. There was a brief moment I thought they might lose, but I knew they would have to win for the show to have it's feel-good moment. Even though everything seemed to tie up just a little too neatly, I still felt satisfied with the story and was so glad to have some of it circle back to Season 1. And, bonus: Another episode without feeling like a PSA was being shoved down my throat!

MVPs of the episode? Mark Salling and Dot Jones. Excellent! I LOVED the Puck/Bieste storyline as well. Believable (though, I still think Cooter being abusive seemed to come out of nowhere) and well told. And Mark Salling really got a chance to shine!
  7. Grey's Anatomy Promos: Six Went Down. One Will Die.

I don't really want to see any of them go. I kind of think it would make sense for story telling purposes if it was Arizona...it would result in Alex staying at Seattle Grace because he will feel responsible for her being on the plane and will want to take over for her in pediatrics.

Then again, if Lexie dies, Derek and Meredith will likely stay to comfort Mark and because Meredith won't want to leave.

If Mark dies, Jackson will be less likely to leave, as will Derek and Meredith.

Honestly, I am just trying to think of the scenario that results in the least amount of the characters ACTUALLY leaving.
  8. The Vampire Diaries Review: One Wrong Turn

But, back to my original reason for that post, I just think it's insane that people, especially people who claim to be fans, are so upset that "Elena" (not a real person) chose "Stefan" (Not a real vampire) over "Damon" (another fake vampire)...on a fictional show. I LOVE the show and am actually a Delena shipper, but it's TV for crying out loud! I post on here a lot because I enjoy discussing the show and getting answers to questions I have (kind of like a book club for TV), but I would NEVER consider lambasting an actual human if I was upset about a writing decision. I'd probably just complain about it on here a little and move on. And, if it got to a point that I really hated something, I'd stop watching.
  9. The Vampire Diaries Review: One Wrong Turn

    @Qberry,
I didn't say people can't have an opinion. But people actually post death threats and HORRIBLE things to her and other show writers. My point is the extremes to which people take it. Insulting an actual human over the fate of fictional characters. And, to be fair, Julie Plec doesn't write every episode. My point was that people should not be flipping out over the direction of the show, particularly regarding "the triangle", if the entire story hasn't been told.
Besides, she has been the show runner the entire time, so why do you say she is mediocre now if there was a time you did love it? If you read the interviews with her, you will find the story actually makes a lot of sense and, while there ARE logic fails that annoy me at times, I still think it's a very fun and engaging show.
  10. Grey's Anatomy Season Finale Promo: We Are Going to Die!

I'm thinking Arizona, though I don't like it. The whole "don't leave me scene" between her and Callie, the fact that she wasn't supposed to go and Karev was and, as @BLH1967 said, how else can they justify keeping Karev...other than he will feel he needs to stay to take Arizona's place.
  11. The Vampire Diaries Round Table: "The Departed"

@Kamarra..the actor that plays Elijah, Daniel Gillies, did address that at one time. In fact, in real life he DOES have an accent (New Zealand or British, I think). He said that he figured that the originals lived long enough and in enough places to lose their accents if they so chose to, and he figured Elijah chose to not have one.
  12. Once Upon a Time Review: True Love's Kiss

I love this show! However, I think that Emma came around kind of quickly...the special effects can be awful at times...and I am not sure why Rumple would WANT to bring magic back if it's going to benefit Regina as well (especially after what he learned from Belle). I am very curious to find out next season WHY they weren't transported back...maybe the curse wasn't entirely broken...maybe it's just that Rumple brought magic back?

I also thought there was a chance Henry was a goner for real. It would have been so sad but a real twist.

I think this season was excellent, I enjoyed the finale (despite my questions), but I think that Season 2 is going to have to start with answering a lot of questions. And I think that they are going to have to tread lightly if the writers want to keep the essence of what made Season 1 so great...
  13. The Vampire Diaries Review: One Wrong Turn

through a book if you didn't like something? NO! You'd read until the end. Now, if they series ends in a crappy way, it's okay to feel cheated or get a bit miffed...but even THAT won't warrant anger towards REAL people over fictional characters and stories. Besides, it's clear Julie Plec is passionate and cares about the show...she honestly seems to want to do it justice and really cares about the story and characters. Why don't people give her a break and let her tell the story?
  14. The Vampire Diaries Review: One Wrong Turn

Also, can I just say that I am a Delena shipper. But, I totally get why Plec and Co decided to do what they did in having Elena pick Stefan. He was her rock in tough times and Elena lost everything...he was there for her in her human life when she didn't want to live. Damon was not a stable choice for Elena. And Plec said that this is only half-way through the story...with the triangle as the main premise of the show, she is sure to go back to Damon at some point. Personally, I'd like to see Damon as end-game for the series, but the Stefan choice really does make sense with the story if you think about it. He's going to have to be there when she transitions. He is the person that helps her through things.
Also, I really can't believe the way fans are attacking the writers and show runner over a choice made on a TV SHOW. People are just ridiculous. It's not real life, people! Just enjoy the story (or don't). You don't even know the ending yet...would you get pissed halfway through a book if you didn't like something?
  15. The Vampire Diaries Review: One Wrong Turn

    5. If there WERE no ambulances and Stefan took her to the hospital anyway, shouldn't he have high-tailed it out of there with Elena before she woke up in the morgue??

    6. Why didn't Damon try to bite Elena during their first meeting? Is it because she looked like Katherine? I mean, he was pretty bad-ass in Season 1. Doling out love advice? Kind of out of character, even if it did add into the story-line.

    7. So, is Tyler in Klaus' body or are they sharing Tyler's body? How is Klaus going to overcome the nasty burns that stake gave him?
  16. The Vampire Diaries Review: One Wrong Turn

Questions I need answered after ruminating on this episode a few days:

    1. Did Elena know she had vampire blood in her system when she asked Stefan to save Matt?

    2. What was stopping Elena from just unbuckling her seat-belt and swimming out herself (other than the need for her to die to complete the story-line).

    3. What was Stefan doing on the bridge anyway? Did he have a feeling Bex would go after Elena? Was he running out to stop Matt from taking her out of town?

    4. Why did she go the morgue? Even if Stefan didn't know she had vampire blood in her system at first, surely Meredith told him at some point. They both knew she wasn't DEAD dead. Wouldn't some hospital workers freak out to see the dead girl from the morgue stroll out later? Did ambulances and police officers go to the scene of the accident and bring her to the hospital? If so, won't they FREAK OUT when they see her alive later?

    5. If there WERE no ambulances and Stefan took her to the hospital anyway, shouldn't he have high-tailed it out of there with Elena before she woke up in the morgue??
  17. The Secret Circle Review: Two Balcoins Are Better Than One

I do hope it comes back but the first half of this season was so, so much better...it all started getting jumbled during the second half and too much happened...plus there were just so, so many logic fails. I want to see the show get a second chance but they must recapture the "magic" of the first half of Season 1 if it's going to survive.
  18. The Vampire Diaries Round Table: "The Departed"

@Spindae..I like the Secret Circle but the story telling is so NOT on par with the first season of TVD..and TSC is only in it's first season...I liked the first half of the season of TSC but after that....I don't know, it lost something...
  19. The Vampire Diaries Round Table: "The Departed"

    @TVD Fan:

Yes, Julie Plec reminded us that that is part of vampire mythos on TVD. A vampire in transition starts to remembered things they were compelled to forget. Remember when Caroline turned and flipped out on Damon yelling "I remember what you did to me!!"...
  20. The Vampire Diaries Round Table: "The Departed"

    Give this season a grade.

Ruthie, agreed. I can't seem to stop myself from reading the spoilers and watching the clips...but I also end up sort of piecing what I think will happen together and it ruins the episodes. I totally called the whole Elena dies with blood in her system thing as soon as the promos and spoilers started to come out.

But I give the season a B, based against Season 1 (A+) and Season 2 (A-). The ghost thing annoys me and some of the plots resolved too quickly this season. I also take points off for logic fails, of which there seemed to be many this season. That said, still my favorite shows and the last two episodes were incredible (though the penultimate a bit better than the finale)!
  21. The Vampire Diaries Round Table: "The Departed"

Most extreme action: Bonnie spelling Klaus, Rebekah causing the accident or Elena's chipper morning mood?

Ruthie, you are reading my mind about the Klaus/Tyler thing!

That said, I guess I didn't expect Bonnie to do that but it's not really extreme if you realize it was to save her friends by (at least temporarily) preventing Klaus's death. Bex was pretty bad-ass though!
  22. The Vampire Diaries Round Table: "The Departed"

Though, when she woke up in the hospital, she seemed confused to be there...so maybe she didn't know...
  23. The Vampire Diaries Round Table: "The Departed"

Did Elena make the right choice?
I agree with Matt, that next season will result in Elena wavering a bit and remembering things that Damon compelled her to forget. I don't love her choice, but it makes sense right now I guess. I also don't know how I feel about how she HAD to make her choice, but I think the writers did their best to make it something that had to come from Elena's gut in the heat of the moment when neither of them were right in front of her. It also paralleled nicely with the choice she made with Matt a few years back. But I think her passion for Damon was different than her sisterly love for Matt.

That said, I am agree with Matt in wondering if Elena knew about the vamp blood and made the choice to turn...so Matt could be saved. It didn't even occur to me until read that interview with Julie Plec, but now...
  24. The Vampire Diaries Round Table: "The Departed"

Biggest shocker: Klaus taking over Tyler, Alaric dying or Elena turning?

All the spoilers and predictions leading up to this episode made me firmly believe that Elena would die with vampire blood in her system (thanks to the head wound..though I didn't know who would feed it to her), and that it would be a great way to kill Evilaric without actually KILLING Elena. So, as I kind of expected both, it leaves the body take over. Which DID surprise me but, I agree with Ruthie, it just left me with a lot of logistical questions and confused me.
  25. The Vampire Diaries Round Table: "The Departed"

What was your favorite scene from the finale?
A tie between 'Ric dying in Damon's arms and him realizing that means Elena is dead, and the Stefan staring tragically over dead Elena in the morgue...JUST AS SHE WAKES A VAMPIRE! Yes!
