  1. Once Upon a Time Review: The Fruits of Sacrifice

@Bored Now: You said I doubt that anyone could even LOCATE it, just like with Lost's Island. food and clothing is there through magic of the curse.

But, Emma located it. August located it. Maybe it was the curse that brought them there but, according to the story, it's in Maine.
  2. The Vampire Diaries Round Table: Pre-Finale Edition!

Make one bold prediction regarding the finale.

Elena dies in the car crash with vampire blood in her system, wakes up and has to decide to turn. Season ends with her sinking her teeth into someone's neck.
  3. The Vampire Diaries Round Table: Pre-Finale Edition!

Who has been the season three MVP?

Joseph Morgan as Klaus. He plays such a charming villain I almost forgot I am supposed to root for Klaus to be gone. Morgan is brilliant in EVERY scene and Klaus has had some classic moments!
  4. The Vampire Diaries Round Table: Pre-Finale Edition!

More likely to appear: Katherine, Klaus or Rose?

Jim is right, I agree with Katherine. If Klaus isn't a threat (assuming he stays dessicated) she can return. She may even have an integral part in the choice Elena makes. That said, maybe none of them will return... And, I will be happy as long as it isn't Rose...I hate the whole ghost thing on TVD...
  5. The Vampire Diaries Round Table: Pre-Finale Edition!

Rank in order of most likely to die: 'Ric, Sheriff Forbes, Jeremy, Bon-Bon, and Matty.

SHERIFF: She is totally expendable and has such a small storyline. But, Caroline will have no parents? Will everyone in MF be an orphan?!

'RIC: Good Alaric isn't coming back, Matt Davis has the "Cult" pilot, and I think we have seen enough of this evil story line.

MATTY: Though, I hate to see it because the show does need some humans and it's getting ridiculous just how many close friends and family members Elena is losing.

BONNIE: I am tired of her character always using magic to save the day, but this is the fault of the writers. They need to stop using magic as a crutch in general. We need Bonnie, though, as that last spell showed some potential for some dark magic stuff with Bonnie and, well, someone has to be the plot device that saves everything.

JEREMY: I don't think the writers would do this. Elena has lost too much. I do think, based on next week's promo, that there is a chance he might go all vamp hunter next season...
  6. The Vampire Diaries Round Table: Pre-Finale Edition!

    Who will Elena choose?
I honestly am not sure. Stefan would be the boring been there/done that romance. Damon would be my preference in her choices but where do they go from there? If she chooses herself, it buys more time for the triangle but it's so lame. Julie Plec says Elena does choose a sibling...which make me think she chooses Jeremy and caring for her family right now. The other problem is the "pact" the brother's made...and clearly neither will leave MF or the show right now... I think there must be twist that prevents a choice being made right now...
  7. Once Upon a Time Review: The Fruits of Sacrifice

One more thing that drives me nuts and needs explaining to me...sooo, did Storybrooke just appear on the map 28 years ago? Does it have interaction with the outside world (goods like food and clothing must come from somewhere, right?)? Do the people in Storybrooke know how long they've been there (i.e..do they know their ages, birth dates)...I mean, if they live in "reality" and understand "reality", then shouldn't it concern them that they don't seem to age. Or are they in some sort of fog? Not concerned with all those things? I know I think too deeply into this stuff but these are the kinds of things that drive me nuts on TV shows...
  8. Once Upon a Time Review: The Fruits of Sacrifice

In reading comments, it has occurred to me:
Does anyone question just WHY Regina wanted Henry? I don't think it was her yearning to be a mother. Obviously, Rumple must have know he was Emma's son when he got Henry for Regina, but I'm sure Regina didn't. But why did she want him in the first place? She always has an agenda...

I also like the idea that some of the commentors had that Bae will come back to Storybrooke and not be so nice after how he was abandoned by his father.
  9. Once Upon a Time Review: The Fruits of Sacrifice

Emma is NOT going to die. I think Emma, Regina, Rumple, Henry, Snow, and Charming are pretty much safe on this series as they are basically central characters of the story. Maybe David will slip back into a coma in Storybrooke or something, but I doubt he will die either...
  10. Once Upon a Time Review: The Fruits of Sacrifice

@BooRadley...maybe some magic will find it's way into Storybrooke from FTL?
  11. Once Upon a Time Review: The Fruits of Sacrifice

@Sioned, I actually agree with that. It would make sense that Bae is Henry's father...it would be an interesting addition to the story line for sure!
  12. Once Upon a Time Review: The Fruits of Sacrifice

It's news to me that if Emma dies the curse is broken...have they mentioned that before?

That said, great episode...LOVE the actress that plays Regina...she is so, so good! The scenes with her and Robert Carlyle (sp?) are "magic".

Obviously, Henry will live...but I don't think that Emma will be any closer to believing in the curse...I think she will just figure that Regina tried to poison her...but we shall see!

One thing that is annoying me is that there is no magic in our world but August has to maintain the requirements of deal to keep him human, the magic deal, or he MAGICALLY turns back to wood. It's basically saying that magic is wearing off but there IS not magic. Huh?
  13. The Vampire Diaries Review: A Case of Klaustrophobia

    @BoredNow..

Interesting thought, but I think that those of us that didn't watch Buffy or don't care to make comparisons don't think it's "falling flat on it's nose". And, keep in mind, SOME of the story lines on TVD are from the original Vampire Diaries books that had nothing to do with Buffy. In fact, now that I mention it, the books came out before the Twilight books did. So, you are always saying "Elena is Bella" but maybe it's the other way around?

Either way, you may be looking for Buffy/TVD comparisons as you obviously loved Buffy and want to skewer TVD as often as possible.

Truly, truly not sure why you watch.
  14. The Vampire Diaries Review: A Case of Klaustrophobia

@DiMyLovely "why does the new improved vampire hunt not killing any of the other Vampires and why can't he walk in the sun? The other Originals can, and isn't Evilaric basically an original too?"

When Bex told the story of the Originals, she explained that the son burned them until the witch (what the crap is her name? Ayana or something?) made them spelled rings that allowed them to walk in the day light. Emily made them for Stefan and Damon, Bonnie made one for Caroline, it seems Tyler doesn't need one as he's a hybrid, and Alaric simply didn't have one.
  15. The Vampire Diaries Review: A Case of Klaustrophobia

Oh, and I also watch TVD because Ian Smolderhotter makes my eyes happy ;-)
  16. The Vampire Diaries Review: A Case of Klaustrophobia

@TeamElena...lol!! I spend WAY too much time on here because, at work, pretty much every social networking site is blocked so I have nothing to do during lunch hour or, you know, ADHD hour, haha! And I am just narcissistic enough to check back once in a while to see if people replied to my comments, I guess, lol! And curious enough to see if people answered my questions. I'm really not some freak that spends all her time on these site or hours watching TV... I think TV Fanatic, WetPaint and the occasional Zap2it are the only places I go and it' usually only for TVD or the Secret Circle...and I like the reviews of Once Upon a Time...
But, ANYWAY, I do like to analyze the shows a bit, I guess! I am a pretty normal wife, mom, etc with a routine life so TVD and TSC are my guilty pleasures :-) I get kind of critical when the writing sucks because it makes me worry that the shows I enjoy so much could get canceled!
  17. The Vampire Diaries Season Finale Sneak Peek: Where's the Body?

Also, although I haven't read the books, apparently Elena dies in a car crash with vampire blood in her system in the books and comes back undead. She could have been healed of that headache/nosebleed with vamp blood.. I mean, I know the show doesn't fully follow the books (or at all really), but it's always a possibility. Plus, becoming a vampire will probably delay the choice she has to make..
  18. The Vampire Diaries Season Finale Sneak Peek: Where's the Body?

After watching the promo for next week (not this clip necessarily), I have an icky feeling that the thing Jeremy plans to do to protect his sister is kill all of the vampires that surround her. There has been a ton of foreshadowing in the last few episodes about how much he dislikes her being around them.

Also, I still don't think Klaus comes back, per se, just that they have to keep Alaric from finding and white-oak-staking him. Assuming he was truthful in Before Sunset that he is the head of our Mystic Falls vamp bloodline, that would be quite an issue!
  19. The Secret Circle Review: A Double Dose of Sibling Rivalry

I think, either way, it's one of the biggest plot holes in the show and they need to spend more time (if they get a Season 2) explaining the parent's circle and it's dynamics...
  20. The Secret Circle Review: A Double Dose of Sibling Rivalry

@AliKat7..that IS a good point...maybe they weren't all in high school. I guess I assumed they were because the current circle is, but it's possible Diana and Cassie's moms were the youngest...
  21. The Secret Circle Review: A Double Dose of Sibling Rivalry

@Elyse, agreed! That is the part that is infuriating me as well!
  22. The Vampire Diaries Round Table: "Before Sunset"

Oh, or Meredith can die...but I kind of think Julie Plec is in love with Torrey Devitto, so I doubt it...
  23. The Vampire Diaries Round Table: "Before Sunset"

that pilot), Bex (she IS sort of expendable), Kol (but who cares, really?), Elijah (I think Daniel Gillies is also on a new show) and, oh man I hope not, Caroline. Jamie can also be a goner (but we don't know him enough to care really...yet it would re-open the door for Beremy), and Abby might die as well (which, again, not that upsetting).

I know it's a shocker, per the cast interviews, so I am a bit worried it's someone like Caroline (no, please, no)..
  24. The Vampire Diaries Round Table: "Before Sunset"

Predict one death on the season finale.

I was thinking Matt but there has to be someone that is human on this show still... But, yeah, I bet Matt. Also, I was thinking Bex but now I think she will live and seek some vengeance for the dessication of her brother.

Other death I am predicting? Elena. As in, she gets vamp blood to fix whatever made her pass out, she dies in the car crash that maybe also kills Matt, she comes back because she had vamp blood in her system...and then she has to decide if she wants to be a vampire. That might actually kill Evilaric too, were that to happen.

I am sure that Stefan, Elena and Damon will never be gone as the triangle is the true premise of the show, per Julie Plec. Michael Trevino and Steven McQueen confirmed their returns for Season 4. Bonnie can't go because we need at least one witch to fix all the plot holes. Klaus is, for the moment at least, dried up in a box in the Atlantic. So, that leaves Alaric (Matt Davis DOES have that pilot), Bex (she IS sort of expendable), Kol (but who cares, really?), Elijah (I think Daniel Gillies is also on a new show) and, oh man I hope not, Caroline.

  25. The Vampire Diaries Round Table: "Before Sunset"

Worse shot to take: blood or tequila?

I agree with Dan..how did Elena drink tequila after losing so much blood?! And, I don't think she got any superblood from the Sal-bros or that horrible headache and nose bleed probably wouldn't have happened (I think she had an aneurysm from hitting her head when Klaus pushed her).

That said, not sure I could down a shot of blood.
