@Lala,I know, and, what is more absurd is the whole way they wrote that flashback, which makes me think they came up with it last minute. I really did not get the reason behind Damon compelling Elena so that no one knows he is in town. First of all, who would she tell? Ok, maybe Bonnie...and? Thats if she even remembered meeting him the night before. Second, even she told somebody, who would really care that she met a guy named Damon? He didn't say his full name, Damon Salvatore, which would have rang a bell in someone's mind, but come on, where was the actual danger? Anyway, this whole thing with whom Elena met first is beyond ridiculous because if true love is about whom you met first and not fall in love first, then I don't get what the show is trying to tell me, except that it really does not know how to develop a triangle.
Its taken three seasons for the writers to decide to turn Elena into a vampire, and there's already talk of writing in a storyline turning her back into a human.
Haha, and OF COARSE somewhere in Bonnie's grimoire or whatever there will be an "ancient" spell that can turn back a vampire. I call this now, the show will bring in that book kitsune made rose which is able to turn back a vampire into a human...

Hopes for Season 4 - That there is a main SL that the writers will stick to the whole season and not make up stuff as they go along. That the writers focus less on the triangle and more on the actual story.
Worst episode - ugh, there were so many, how can I even choose, but as much as I want to give it to "Ghost World", I'll go with 1912 because this episode was promised to give us something valuable about Damon's past, yet it did nothing of that sort and ruined another great book character - Sage.
Most Welcome Return - Elijah (the first time tho, not the second)
Most Unwelcome Return - Rose, I don't even need to explain why.
Biggest Surprise - Matt is still alive!
Final Grade - D. I am sorry, but I can't give this season any higher grade as the main SL was missing for most of the episode, there was no consistency, the main character did not evovle at all and too many episodes were spent on less than recurring characters that did nothing for the plot, and there were just way too many filler episodes this season.

Best Character - Third Grade Hopscotch Champion, a.k.a Miss Caroline Forbes. Even though the writers could have given her better material, still, she was the least annoying character, and the most realistic out of all of them. Every character on this show ought to learn something from her.
Worst Character - I would give it to Elena, but since she is pretty much a "dead" character for me, I will give to Damon. This season Damon's character has degraded to a self-loathing, snarky gigolo, who takes rejection like 17 yearold boy. I want s1 Damon!
Best Episode - "The End Of The Affair" - it was the best flashback episode and it was written really well, everything connected and made sense to me.

I think once Klaus will get back to his normal evil self once he finds out that there is still a stake to kill him of for good (NOT THAT I WANT IT TO) and that his doppelganger is now not only boring but also useless....so I think that will put him back into survival mode and this whole thing will make him be more like the pre-sacrifice, cos this season I think he got too relaxed and let down his guard once he became a hybrid and started making other hybrids...I hope he teams up with Kol, he did say he had hopes for him, so maybe this is the time for them to do something awesome together!
OMG, I just can't stop LOLing, they decided to make Sara Goodman the showrunner....as in the woman who wrote "The End of The Affair" - where Blair made that pact with God to marry Louis if Chuck survived...LOLOLOLOL! "Great" choice! Oh Schwartz and Savage...why did you do this to us?
Damon thinks he knows everything and has all the answers, hence Elena should do as he says, such a relationship is not healthy becoz in the end its sort all about making one person happy, yes Elena makes stupid mistakes, but hopefully she will someday learn from them, and Damon does not always make the right decisions either, but is to stubborn to do things someone's way.
